"Overall a good experience with franco"

Yea my last TLN with him was great

he swallows, doesnt spit either, lol...

Been giving spare change on a regular basis to a toothless hag w/ a wild hair-do. She followed me into my hotel 2 hours later and went room to room, unbeknownst to the check-in clerk, until she banged on my door. (My room was upstairs way in the back). Well I was in the middle of a hot session until I stopped to look out the window. She held out a paper cup filled with a few pennies and said "give me some change Tull". The next day she was still following me around asking for $. Now she just curses at me- in both Eng. & Span. Wish I had a name or better description of her, but you have all seen her before. Her home base would be the Najera on main street. Boy was she ever a mood/momentum breaker!

Trinidad, (Trini) the street guy, former LA textile worker, has been hitting me up every f'n trip.. The other day he had this terrible skin outbreak on face and arms.. Looked like ringworms, Herpes and Sarcoma all rolled into one..

Said the farmacia gave him a small tube of medication that helped but needed more.. I took one look and forked over 5 for another tube then thought he may have burned himself to get more money for drugs.. They will do that you know..

Even cut off limbs to become beggers..

That guy with the spray painted face has slipped a few levels LOWER. Yeah the pathetic guy that you thought was all ready at rock bottom. The one who staggers as he holds out his change cup & almost bumps into you. I see him usually laid out on the sidewalk basically unable to get up, but usually not passed out. It`s a sad, painful sight, & I wonder how much longer he can "hold on"? Or if the authorities will take him (far) away someday. I am a daytime monger which adds to the gravity of the situation.

He was haveing a real hard time of standing on wed the 17th. Saw him fall in the alley a couple of times too.

Hey, Jethro Tull. That September 9th 2003 posting regarding the "toothless hag w/wild hairdo," that's Betty.

I've been trying to do her for weeks, but she goes off on this wild tirade about needing money to eat, etc. Everytime i invite her up to my room at the Las Cascadas, she storms off yelling something about me being a weirdo.

Word on the street is, Texas Mike has turned himself in to US authorities for outstanding warrants and is doing jail time somewhere in the US.

He's trying to get clean and sober and straighten out his life.

Does anyone know if Franco fucks street or club girls from time to time?

I was just wondering if he saves up and does a street girl now and then. What about REALLY saving up and then doing someone like Africa? Would she turn him down with those teeth?

Africa would probably limit the DFK with Franco.

I've seen some chicks being really friendly with Franco, and when I asked him if he ever does any of them, he said "what do you think?" Typical Franco answer.

Talked to Franco last week, he says he's absolutely no idea what happened to Texas Mike.The rumores are he wanted to get himself clean and sober and the only way to do it was to turn himself in to US authorities in exchange for proper medical treatment, being that he's a Vietnam vet and all.

So as of now, still MIA

Saw him about 8pm last night and 4am today; both times he said today is his 40th birthday.

That would be correct. January 13th is his birthday.

I had plan on coming down today with some necessity items as gifts for Franco's birthday but I got lazy reading these TJ board all morning. I guess he could wait another day for his gifts.

Anyone else going to TJ on wednesday? Inbox me if you wanna meet for a beer.

I met Franco on the first night I was in the Zona. I walk the streets alot. We always find a way to have a good conversation during my visits in TJ. He rarely ask me for anything and when he does... it is only after he had been of service to my cause.

Sometimes a friendship developed over time and a person just become a part of your life.

You're not really missing anything but just don't judge a book by its cover.

Funny you should say that. We look like a father and son combo walking the streets yet... I am only three year younger than him. The oldest I have been guess by a streetgirl is 25. Some don't even believe me after I showed them my DL.

To a newbie he is a wonderful source of info. To a vet like yourself. He is probably useless. To me he is just a friend.

I agree Franco looks older than his age whereas I look years younger. The oldest I was pegged at so far is 32.

Seriously, I have seen him for years down there.

He's always in the alley. On a sorry ass bike... with the George W. Bush "starrin at the sun" dipshit look. At least I wear clean XXL shirts. When you are XXL it is important to wear larger shirts to cover your belly button IMO.
