Majestic Bar
At the very end of Callejon Coahuilla on Ninos Heroes next to California Club across from the Rio Rosas Bar on the corner. Walked in here by chance. I was surprised to see that it was crowded. This was late afternoon. The dancers do the standard strip type floor show for a while. Then the DJ plays music where everyone dances for a while. They have a mixture of female and male waiters as well as female and male bartenders. They seem to all wear red and black while I was there. Guess that is the color of their uniform.

Walk in the door and it is long and thin room front to back. Small bar to the right with some bar stools that are usually filled with chicas. Tables for about 60 to 80 people packed in. A bench just across from the bar which makes for the isle is usually filled with chicas. Dance floor in the center on the left side. DJ booth and bathrooms in the back.

They serve peanuts and chips with the drinks. Careful, since they are spicy hot. Guess the idea is to encourage you to drink more.

This is a local bar but the waitresses and chicas seem friendly enough. I did find one chica that spoke ok english or should I say, she found me. The chicas that I talked to were all local chicas or from a short distance away like Ensenada. Maybe I got lucky with the girls, but while the girls did work on the ficha drink and dance schedule, they kept the drink hustle to a reasonable pace. I talked to three different girls that all claimed to be there less than a month. One was only her first week there. This was confirmed by a friendly local that said she was indeed new. The general build of the girls seemed to be short and wide with a few exceptions.

The DJ plays a mixture of Mexican and US dance music.

An occasional gringo walks in, but by and large it is a small local bar that can get crowded.

Like a lot of ficha bars, some of the girls will go to the room with you if they like you. Not sure how many here. Maybe only a few. I did not see any leave so I think it is mostly ficha dance/drink. But one girl did mention that she might be available for a private session. I did not follow her up on it. Maybe next time. I was told that one of the other girls was usually available if you approached her right.

Last Friday I made a "discovery" there - Consuelo.

Short, wide, pleasingly brown, young

She approached me right away, she was JUST MY TYPE.

She was hugging me and kising me (like teenagers). We swapped spit for a couple of hours.

Gosh, this was great. Her specs: 23, 2 small kids, doesn't go to the room, new at this (3 weeks)

We spent a couple of hours intertwined. I bought her the 2-for-1 beers instead of ficha beers, paying her the 20 pesos each on the side. (This got her drunk faster).

I dropped about 50 bucks in this time. Hugging and kissing this girl was more fun than screwing my ex-fav. I began to develop a great interest.

We arranged for me to come back Saturday. I left and went and screwed Alondra (Hotel Irma), thinking of the new girl all the while.

I went back Saturday and she came to my table, sat down, accepted (but didn't drink) her beer.

"I gotta use the restroom", she said, and disappeared. After a couple of minutes, I went back there (it was dark) and she was lip-locked on some guy.

I flipped her off (Gave her the finger), returned to my table, spilled her beer (so she couldn't drink it), and left in a huff.

The next day I had second thoughts.
I returned to the bar (well-dressed this time) & approached her.

I apologized for my behavior the night before and said "I never want to be rude to her, but I was angry, and that it was clear she had no interest in me. She began sputtering excuses.

I gave her a BRAND-SPANKING-NEW $2 bill, explaining that in most parts of Mexico it was serious good luck. I told her that there were many beautiful things about her but that her conduct was lacking.

I wished her well and luck in her life, turned and left.

I'd like to think she'd realize she lost a good man, but I'd settle for her lamenting that she lost a well-heeled sucker.

Courtesy is SO much sweeter than anger.

P.S. The bartender overcharged me for my Agua mineral. One waitress put me straight on this.

I Tumble Every Time

Senior Pauncho, If I had a nickel for every time I fell in love and then had my little heart broken in the Zona I'd have all the nicklels. I seriously fall in love because I am smitten by their beauty and then bitten by their ways. I'm trying to find the balance.

I'm a sucker for these babes -straight up. It cost me a lot of money not too long ago but that wasn't lust, it was stupidity. I'm not a sex-addict, I'm a latina addict. Sex doesn't even have to be part of the program (although it it usually always is).

It is certainly my problem and as I hone my mongering skills and receive counselling from my hombres I feel myself beginning to come around and it makes coming around to feel a more realisitic hobby.

My mom had this expression when she talked about uncaring people as "hard as a whores heart." Funny eh?
