Nice coffee shop type place located on the north side of Diaz Miron (Calle 4ta) between Ninos Heroes and Constitution nearest Ninos Heroes.
Breakfast served 6am to noon. Not sure when they close.

A good place to take a date for breakfast since it isn't that many blocks from the zona which means that you can walk there. Food is not spectacular but prices are reasonable and it is a nice clean place.

Locals and some families. No gringos. Not much english spoken here. Just point at the menu and you will do fine. I found that pointing to the menu worked better than my spanish pronunciation.

At the bottom of the receipt you will see your bill in dollars if you are out of pesos. They used an exchange rate of 9.5 to the dollar when the going rate was around 9.8 to the dollar which is about what I have experienced in these type of places.

I mention it because it seems like a nice place to take a chica for breakfast that is within walking distance of the zona and away from the tourist oriented places. It might also work for lunch.

Breakfast (desayuno) is from 7am to 12noon (not as I reported previously as 6am to noon). Just did not want anyone to get there early in the morning expecting to find the place open.
