Hi, I am wondering if anyone here knows the name of the hotel and the rates. It is located on Ave. Martinez between 1st and 2nd (closer to 2nd) and has glass front doors at the entrance. Its a 2 story building I believe. I think it has "ORO" in the name but not really sure. Its across the street from a good chicken restaurant.
Only a true TJ monger would know this because it is off the beaten path. Thanks in advance for any info!!

It's about $55 a night. They have large king beds and TV. It's reasonably clean. I checked it out once, as fav was getting tired of the walk to Villa Zaragoza and VZ never had a remote control when I got there. Fav gets antsy without remote control. Never stayed at Plaza de Oro as we chose Hotel America instead. I asked some questions about Plaza de Oro and Explorer said it was about at a Hotel Leon level, but a little cleaner. They also have a place on Rev.
