Anyone know of any marriages between these girls and gringos? I am curious about question, not that I am interested in the concept.
I just hear about guys taking these girls out, having "favoritas", etc. that I had to start the thread.

I was with an ex-HK girl recently that told me she is married to some guy in LA, but she still lives in TJ(???). She claims they truely had a legal and legitmate marriage. I thought it was bit funny that I was spending the night with her in the apartment that her "husband" was paying for. When I asked why she didn't live with him, she eloquently said, "I love dick too much and my independence". Apparently this guy pays for the apartment, gives her $200/wk, and comes down every other weekend to see(fuck) her. (Sounds like more of mistress to me, than a wife).
However, this is his "non-TJ" weekend and she wants to do something with me. She gave me her number and told me she just wants to go out (without money being exchanged). I still haven't decided if I want to or not.

I know of 2 other beautiful girls that had a "serious" gringo novios, but ended up marrying fellow mexicanos. They too were famous ex-HK girls from the glory days. I was really surprised they did not marry their novio, because they always said they "loved" them. One of them ended up with baby, the other still has no kids. But both are still married to their mexican husbands and no longer work the bars.

The point I am trying to make is that I wonder if these girls have any intention to marry a gringo, except for the money. When I notice a good(pretty,single, no kids) girl is gone, I usually ask what happened to her. The answer is usually: 1) She married a mexican or 2) She returned home. I just never heard "she's married an American and lives with him in the U.S."

I would believe that any gringo who would leave his esposa down in TJ during the week might as well hang it up if he wants to keep her.

At any rate, I do know one gringo who brought his novia up to the USA, and is now happily married.

I know one gringo that married an HK chica about a year ago. They live in TJ. He is very happy. She says she is happy, but he "loves her too much" I've seen it. He pays way too much attention to her. I don't think it will last.

About a year ago I also met a gringo in AB who was married to an ex AB dancer. We had a couple of beers together. He had been married about 2 years. He said he was very happy.

Of the chicas I know at AB, none have stated goals of marrying a gringo.

IMO it is certainly possible to marry zona chica and be happy with her. I know a couple who have done it and another guy who married a "working" gal from another part of Mexico and they are doing just fine. The question I raise for the vast majority is whether or not a zona chica or a cliente are ready for that if they met in the zona. Maybe a chica who is tired of the life and a monger who is burnt out also? Or maybe they switch their mindset to what they want rather than what they have.

A couple of chicas have also told me they would prefer not to have met their novio or husband in the zona. Makes sense, but sometimes amor hits in the most unusual of circumstances.

Actually, I know about few of the girls that are married to U.S. citizens. I am also aware of a couple of girls that live with U.S. citizens. All the girls still work in the bars and they live in TJ with their husbands or significant other. They all seem to be rather happy with no major complications. We all live in the same apartment complex. The girls are working towards getting out of the bars and you will find a lot of them in school a couple of days each week.

I guess if I could work out these issues ...well, I'm really not 'husband material.'

Bone, yes it would. Especially if she liked the rapist burgler/ yuppie career woman game. I used to 'break in' to my girlfriends house, beat her up, and fuck her whenever she'd ask me. I actually started to enjoy it.

I know of one, maybe the same that whistler is talking about. American guy in san diego met ab dancer, they got married lived in san diego for awhile, but she was there illegaly because he fucked up the papers so they moved to tj where they are living now. He is much older than her and she has one previous son who has now been shipped off to her momma. Yes he still goes to AB and yes she still works and is fucked up on drugs. There was love in the beginning but now it is garbage, probably headed for divorce.
