I will be in SoCal for two weekdays (Mon & Tues) with plans in evenings. I've done the tourista thang in TJ, but would like to try Zona Norte/Roja. Would a trip during the day be a waste? Any ideas where to find the best deal during daylight hours?

Tuesday after 6:00 pm should be OK. SGs are there all the time every day the same. AB the only place to go. There is a reasonable choice after 4:00 pm IMO.

You might get lucky, but if you want a guarantee, contact Jesus (pronounced haysues) the cab driver and he will find you the best stuff available for that time of day. He speaks almost perfect english. He can even arrange to have a girl meet you. He will meet you at the border and show you around town, plus he can keep a newbie out of trouble 011-52-664-800-3495

Tropical Bar typically has an excellent selection of young and attractive women, every day. I vaguely recall that the first shift is about 10 am until about 8 pm; the 2nd shift is from about 8 pm to 6 am. Tropical is on Coahuila, across the street from Adelita's, near the next block to the west, Ninos Heroes.

Girls dance here for $1 per song with customers. There are strip shows for about 20 minutes, about once an hour. Not all strip.

Most of the girls here go up, but some don't. Not all strippers go up. Some who only dance - without stripping - go up. Don't be embarassed if one says she doesn't go up. As she works in a strip bar, she should expect to be asked upstairs.

Some people object to buying drinks for a female, only to find out that she doesn't go upstairs. I might - or might not - dance with 'em, before asking them upstairs.

You can, it seems, make some reasonable inferences
from how a woman comes across while dancing, about how she will treat you upstairs. Is she energetic? Patient? Smiling? Bossy? Some girls want to do a couple of dances, then move on - to drinking. I usually let 'em go.

The girls here at Tropical are almost always terrific in bed!
