It's been about 8 mos. since I've been to Adelitas. I noticed the back area where the men's bathroom used to be is now walled off. Included in the area that is walled off is a small area where some of the girls used to mill around. Adelitas seems a bit smaller because of this remodel.

Any one know why they did this?

I don't know about their expansion plans but AB is now alot smaller.

So much so that my local friend / regular tells me many of the AB hotties have left for greener pastures and that even CC is better than AB on some nights.

Based on my three recent SAt trips I would have to argree on the lack of talent. It is just too packed and too hard to even walk through at all at times.

I haven't been in awhile but I believe the wall is temporary while they remodel the area behind it. If it's permanent it makes no sense at all. If anyone knows different please share.

Last week I was told that one of the outcomes of this remodel is going to be a large glassed in shower and they'll be doing shower shows. Of course La Tropa and Hong Kong and Manhattan have had versions of this - can't really call them "shows" but some of the chicas take publically viewable showers. I get the feeling that AB's plan is more ambitious. It better be for all the inconvenience it's causing.

I've heard it's temporary, though the renovation may not be complete for a few months.

Well, I got to witness the progress in AB first hand. I hope it is all for the better. If they were smart they would shove that island bar up agains the wall to west. It's not like you can order anything from the back side anyway.

That's why I like the layout of CC the best. Plain and simple. I can get good views from most places in the bar. When I'm in AB I have to roam quite a bit.

The remodeling work in the men's restroom is finished. Nicer, larger, New 7 urinals, 4 stalls, 4 wash sinks.

Yes it it is pretty nice and the remodel has shifted to the area behind the upper bar.

Can they remodel the chicas now? Too many of them look worse than the old bathroom.

The old bathroom also had old chicas (like AnnaMaria of Mexico City) who would come inside and chat with the towel boy (who also doubled as cashier for AB shirt sales).

That always blew me away.

There you are zipping yourself up and some chica is just laughing, talking to her amigo (and probably watching to see if we are washing our hands afterwards ... fair is fair ... if we downgrade the ladies for a sink clean-up ... I suppose they can rightfully do the same) and amused at her new work station location.

Maybe the new bathroom will bring newer, and younger, chicas into the front doorway!

I get disgusted when I see chica dfk's passionately the towel boy inside the banos.
Marble tiles on the floor and walls, big step up. This has changed the AB layout though as it is too difficult to do your round so club is smaller.

I am not impressed with the new bathrooms and like the old floor plan better.
I'm told renovation to be finished in three weeks. I am skeptical. We Will see.
