There has been a committee formed to promote the orphan Christmas fiesta and drive for this upcoming holiday. We wish to publicaly thank all the organizers for their efforts and hope that we can keep the ball rolling this Christmas season.

We plan on having the fiesta on Saturday night December 3rd as hopefully that will not conflict with company parties and office parties as much as the following two Saturdays may. The venue will be determined soon.

I would like to share with you the history of our work with the orphans. This project was embraced by Amo several years ago, and we incorporated it into a fiesta in the year 2002. That first Christmas party was attended by about 40-50 Internet mongers and raised about 63 gifts and five bikes for these 13 children.

The project has grown to accepting cash donations and as a group we have paid Tuition and related expenses as well as a custom wheel chair for Benjamin. Also a nice swing set and playground was purchased and constructed by our members for the kids.

Certainly we have surpassed my wildest dreams of what we could do, and have put a smile on these kids faces a few times a year. Our goal this year is not to try and top any past performance, but to do our best to ensure these children have as nice a holiday as we can put together for them. It is not clear at this point about any specific needs but we are going to post them as they become available.

In the past sometimes the random gift procedure has left some kids without gifts and others with many. If you are willing to purchase a gift we will assign you a child so that the gifts can be more evenly divided.

Our small committee is Amo, Milkman, Metalboots, Sparks, and me(Sampson). We are not opposed to getting other people involved but have created a small private forum to discuss our strategy before making it public. Many have already pm'd me about wanting to help.

We have already received a $400 donation from an anonymous new member, and he was touched by our efforts and although wants to help also wants to be private about his contribution.

Let's work together to ensure these kids have a nice holiday and are not forgotten. As information becomes available like clothing sizes and needs we will publish it here.

Our good buddy Amo has got the lists of the children ages and sizes. If you would like to buy a gift for a kid please pm me and let me assign you kids. Per his message we will get a wish list for each kid and will try to see that evey kid can get gifts and hopefully a gift or two on their list. We realize this is not an exact science, and we all appreciate any help you can give. It is just a shame when everyone buys for the same kid and another gets left out.

The Nuns told me they are having each child write a "DEAR SANTA" letter to find out what they want for presents. I'll try to find that out ASAP.

I stopped by last Saturday to get this list,they were celebrating Lupita's 8th birthday. Hard to believe,I walked in there 5 years ago,she was just 3. She held out her arms for me to pick her up, and I was hooked. She is truly my TJ favorita!

Many hombres have expressed an interest in helping but for various reasons want to send cash. In this instance please pm Milkman to make the arrangements.

Cash donations will be used to fill in gaps, ie. buy gifts for children that are short gifts and wrapping paper, tape, bows, ribbons, etc.

We certainly could use some help in the preparation and maybe a gift wrapping party. This may sound gay, but we could get some of your favoritas involved and that would be cool. I know where I could find some gift wrappers as well. Drop me a pm if you want to help in any way.

THE VENUE HAS BEEN DETERMINED AND THIS PARTY WILL BE AT DELICIAS ON DECEMBER 3 AT 7:30. FREE BEER AND CARNE ASADA. NO DONATION NECESSARY.

For those that decide to come, great! Free Beer and a freshly prepaired dinner - total gratis! A donation is not required however. The Delicias bar has a "Bart Simpson" character on the front. It is basically ACCROSS the street of the alley. So you need to be on Constitution in the middle of the Ice-cream shop and The Mini Police station. If you are at Chicago Club, turn around stay on the same street and walk TWARDS the hill. Be there!

Rocio works in La Tropa, but she did work there.
Abraham doesn't want to host the party as his boss says I steal all of the ladies(which is not true) That bar is Antonio's.

Abraham is coming to the party and helped with the manager at Delicias in getting it scheduled and approved.

Speaking of Abe, he says he got a hernia from tossing around cases of beer and will need surgery. Fortunately his employer pays into the government health program.

Everything is in place for this fiesta and there will be an oppurtunity to donate cash for those that wish to. NO DONATION OF ANY KIND IS REQUIRED.

We will sell raffle tickets for $5 or 3 for $10 to win a free hour's service from TEAM JUANITA escorts Dulce and Jessica and maybe a third lady. All money collected goes to the orphan fund as these ladies are donating their services. Escorts from other agencies are welcome to participate but so far I have not heard back from any.

We will pass a hat to play the "banana game" as well, and all chicas will be eligible to win who are in attendence. The banana game works like this. Of the money collected for this game $30 will go to the winning chica, the rest to the orphans. One Hombre will be given a bannana to hide in his pants and the ladies will be informed that their is a bananna in the pants of a guest and a $30 prize to the lady that can find it.

If you have never attended a fiesta this would be a great one to make your first.

about what time will the fiesta be as I will be coming in late if I cant make it I might just donate some money .

It will start at 7PM. It is customary for guys to show up before 10PM - but there ought to be a few of us still there past midnight. Who knows? But please do show up. I know I like to "break out" of the gig to chase Hong Kong Bar chicas afterwards...

To answer a few questions. The Hopkins/Taylor rematch will be televised. They fought their first at a fiesta earlier this year I believe.

Water, Juice, and Soda will also be free.

The grill will be ready to go early so they can cook as we arrive and not have to wait until later for food. Menu consists of carne asada, chicken, beans and rice

Our friend Abraham is taking off early, so he can assist with the fiesta.

It will be a good time, and as always we encourage lurkers and newbies to come celebrate with us.
