Last night I investigated what I hope will be an interesting new option in the zona, the opening of a massage parlor in connection with La Tropa Bar. I hoped that I would find that it was directly connected to La Tropa, and that you could have the choice of taking a bar girl into an adjacent room for a full body rub and whatever. Instead, I found a dingy operation located in a separate building in the club's back parking area.

I walked in with another Hombre just to get a look at the selection, get the prices and guage the atmospherics. At 2AM (it is open until 6am btw), there was a selection of 4-5 chicas - none drop dead gorgeous but all of them attractive and selectable. One spoke fluent English and explained that the price is $40 per hour for a full nude massage with extras negotiable with your chica.

Though the $40 door fee is above scale for many TJ MPs, I just have a hunch that the extras will be more flexibly negotiated in this location than in the other MPs that are located away from the zona, thus bringing the overall price in line or less expensive than other MPs.

I've learned never to make assumptions that TJ entrepreneurs will operate with general business acumen, but I can't help but think that these chicas know that they are smack dab in the middle of a large scale inexpensive flesh market. Hard to imagine that they will offer strong resistance to reasonable offers for extras given the competition they are so immediately encircled by. In other TJ MPs away from the zona, even those on Revo, I get the impression that they think they are marketing to consumers who are completely disconnected from the zona...and the chicas themselves feel isolated from it, and so they present their famous reluctance to back off of unreasonable price demands for happy endings.

FWIW, I also have a hunch that you may be able to take the regular La Tropa chicas to the MP even though it is separately staffed (a la Pussycats on Revo). Of course you can take the LT chicas to the hotel, but I can imagine some interesting scenarios using the MP that I would personally find appealing.

Anyhow, it was too late for me to jump in last night. I hope we will get some reports from the
real inside of this MP.

I checked this massage parlor out as well ... I was severely disappointed. I walked in, sat on the couch, and was given a menu. $40 was the minimum and I picked that one. What a waste.

It always amazes me that prices are three times higher in TJ mp's than in the clubs. In LT's case, I could understand the $40 for a quick massage but then the "extra" should be regular zona prices - $40 to $60. No way $120.

The girls make money on the extras and you should know by now that 120 is standard for 1 hr.
You can talk them down cheaper and they all accept cheaper prices.

Most will accept 80 for full service once you factor in the 40 and that includes the room for 1 hr it is the same as AB/CC give or take a few fucks

I've only done a massage place once in TJ and didn't see the value in it at all.

all i know is that for a while they were paying cab drivers a $20 commision for the $40---so that left $20 for the club to disperse and i would guess that at the very best the chica would get half of that. now i understand that these chicas ask $120 for full sex after the $40 is paid for a total of $160---this is why i don't understand how these guys go out of ab and down to la tropa massage---hell and they don't even have a fricking bed.

First off, posts here are pretty accurate for this place. Cabie told me Mermaids was closed and told me he would bring me to a new place, "real good". Called it El Campemento, and I did not realize it was the same.

Menu starting at $40, with some packages including 2-3 girls in the jaccuzi. Went with Alica, cute, 23, nice body. Decent massage but I balked at the $120 for "everything". When she would not take my $40, I told her I would just take the massage. She did not want to negotiate.

Towards the end of the massage, we got down to $20 for "relax" (hand job). Had to stop her a few minutes into it, thought she would break it off. No finesse. Her attitude just turned bad when I would not pay the top dollar. Should have known better and just settled for the massage. Just can't change a bad attitude.

Paid her the $20 and went around the corner to Adalitas. They must treat the girls badly here and their attitude reflects it.

It's amazing this place gets any business at those rates, considering their are higher quality girls right down the street for $40.

Anyways, I assume that most, if not all, of the Zona MP girls have no idea how to give a massage. In the past you might get something decent at Monte Carlo, Executive, or New Body (I haven't been to any recently) but forget about massage quality in the Zona.

Basically, you're just paying $40 for a 1 hour room rental. You can get all night at Jalos or Coahuilo for less than that.

The best MP girl I ever saw was Gabriela at Executive. Bibi from Monte Carlo would be second. I think it's easy to find comparable or better girls at AB or CC most of the time.

MPs may be an option for the most dedicated of TJ fans who visit all the time and want something new, but I wouldn't recommend them. I think you're better off exploring the smaller bars if you want a change of pace.

Of course. Her asking price was $100. I said it was too much and countered with $60. She countered with $70. I've been interested in indulging some MP action since learning that all or most of the TJ MPs are finally recognizing the notion of competition and agreeing to provide an hour of services for $80-100 - a price I'd be willing to pay for an hour session out of a zona norte club. The night before my arrival, mi amigo Ronin had a one hour $80 hour session out of the Mermaids MP (the place across the street from AB that features a bar downstairs, and all chicas outfitted to fulfill schoolgirl fantasies). Plus, friends have told me that the old Ruth's Massage on Calle 4 has attractive chicas doing one hour deals for $80.

Following an investigative stop at Ruth's [see more comprehensive chat board report] we decided to check out our options at the zona norte MPs and our first stop was El Campamento in back of La Tropa. It is a gleaming new 2 story building that looks out of place among the urban wreckage that surrounds it. The front lounge is almost elegant in contemporary WHITE with plush couches and I sort of recall marble floors - but I was too occupied with chica stimulae to place a fully "queer eye" to the decor.

We were quoted standard MP pricing and countered by telling the receptionist that we were looking for a package deal similar to what the competition was offering. Here, the package price would be $100 which is within the range that I'd pay for a one hour session at AB and CC - but doing an hour at AB/CC incurs an additional $22 for the hotel room if you don't have an all night $35 room. So this remains a comparatively decent bargain. Unlike at Ruth's, 100% of the chicas made themselves available whether by managerial compulsion or from the pleasing sight of us, I can't say.

Next comes what will probably prevent me from continuing as a regular MP customer - the Nevada style lineup.
