I've started a new topic about this bar, mostly because I never go there, and I don't know anything about it.

Usually, this bar is dreadfully empty and the girls are not very attractive, but on two occasions I saw CC quality girls. I have never personally known anyone else who has gone in there and don't recall any posts about chicas from there.

BTW, I renamed this topic as it was obviously misnamed and deleted the unrelated posts. Whenever you guys notice stuff like that let me know and I'll try to clean it up. Thanks!

Three or four years ago you would find lots of quality ladies in there both in the afternoon and at night. They also had some excellent floor shows. The downer was the heavy push for drinks by the ladies.

Things seemed to drop off markedly when the full nude floor shows were constrained.

My amiga who worked at one of the Revolution Clubs use to like to go bar hopping on Sunday. I took her into Adelita and CC and then we went to other bars. Veronica liked this place because of the music and the format.

Most of the time there are not that many good looking chicas, but occasionally there is a diamond in the rough. My amiga and I enjoy it because it is not too crowded and you can carry on a conversation here.

I took another amiga there and she also enjoyed it. She enjoyed it so much that she got a little drunk and I was giving her dollars to give to the dancers. Elizabeth got pretty drunk and towards the end she was licking the dancer's nipples. This dancer was one of those diamonds in the rough and I was hoping that maybe this would lead to a threesome - unfortunately I had all I could do to get my amiga back at my hotel.

Old, Fat and Ugly is the norm in this place these days. Some of y'all get off on that, though, so have at it! I draw the line at 2 out of those 3!

The best part is walking in with the odd air of optimism that the jackass barkers at the door shouting 'floor cho, floor cho, tiempo de variedad, BYOO-TEE-FOO NAKED LADIES' instill you with, enough to say 'C'mon, maybe THIS time it's true...' And then having them sheepishly cower and shrug when you give them the death glare for tricking you AGAIN into witnessing such horrors while you hurriedly make your exit. Even THEY KNOW their chicas are BUTT FREAKIN' UGLY!

But as has been said here many, many times -- All it takes is one. And it saves you the walk to El Zorro Bar! And there are no steps or smell of urine like at Unicornio! Actually the remodeled bar is a nice looking bar. Why they can't attract chicas, I don't know. Maybe even the chicas know its reputation?

I went in there on Friday evening (another monger turned me on this place). They are back to full nude shows, and some of the chicas are quite nice to watch. The chica to customer ratio is quite good, since there are virtually no customers there at all.

This is a fairly nice bar, although some of the chicas tend to dance to Mexican music.

Now for the bad news: ficha drinks are 55 pesos, and the chicas gulp their drinks. Also, there is no attached hotel, so you know what that means.

All in all, consider this a slightly downscale Manhattan, or upscale Hacienda Bar.

Rio Rosas is occasionally home to IMHO, one of the most attractive girls in the Zona. (A bold statement for those of you that know my taste)

For comparison purposes, I would rate her looks (face) close to Alexis (formerly Pollo), Miriam (AB), Karina (CC).

Unfortunately, I haven't gotten to the room and don't think she goes. She will, however, passionately make out (I've seen her do it with ugly dudes, too), hold you closely, and roam freely with her hands while you can do the same.

She also will consume drinks like she's in the desert. She can easily down four or more drinks in a ten minute (or less) period. If you don't buy, she'll quickly show her utter bitch side and leave.

Be warned, she may order drinks w/o asking and may even do so for a friend of hers. She may also try to order a drink while you are leaving the bar.

She also will probably lie and say yes if you ask if she goes to the room. She'll want to spend time talking (and drinking) with you first.

There you go, if you have big bucks to spend and just want to make out to warm up, Cassandra is a good candidate. Otherwise, you've been warned.

Rio Rosas is more of a "Quiet" bar. I say "Quiet" because no one is in there. We still haven't found out what they're REALLY doing for money, but it ain't bar-related stuff. The girls drink like fish and rarely leave. Goodfella Rich has a girl in Rio Rosas that leave with him at the drop of a hat, but it took a lot of bullshit "sweet-nothings" being whispered in her ear. The GOODFELLAS don't hang out in Rio Rosas because it's boring and not terribly friendly. We can not overstate the fact that the Rio Rosa girls drink faster than fish on the concorde. If you go there, plan to drop a LOT of money on fichas and leave with the swelling problem you came in with...

I know the prices must be a lot cheaper, but how does the quality compare? What is the danger level in Colombia? Give us the details. Inquiring minds want to know.

I was in here 2 nights back (Thursday). It was about as I remembered it. I counted from 6 to 9 ladies working and from 4 to 7 customers. The quality of the ladies was less than I remember from the 1996-1997 timeframe, but the quality was better than some more recent posts would lead me to believe. They still have strippers. 3 song sets. The ladies drinks were $6. I had an aqua mineral that came in a small glass for $3.50 (really a ripoff). I didn't have a problem with the chica, chugging her drinks, but then I've been friends with her for a long time. But I can see that there could be a problem, because the masero checked about every 10 minutes or so to see if she needed another. The bar has potential if you get a lady who doesn't guzzle her drinks.

I was here about a month ago. It was in the afternoon and hot as hell. I came inside Rosas to grab a quick beer anbd get the hell out, well that didn't exactly happen. This cute petite girl come strutting by and sits on my lap, so I buy her a drink and myself one too. Pretty soon I notice I'm not sweating anymore and I think.. holy shit! They have air conditioning in here! So a drink jumped to three and it was worth it, not for the girl, but for the AC on a hot summer day. Definitely worth my $20.

You're confusing Nuevo Rio Rosas with Rio Rita. The first is in the Zona on the alley at Niñoes Heroes. The second was on Revolucion.

Stopped in to check this place out on a recent trip. The offer of $1.50 beers sounded worth checking into. There were a few ok girls there but the place really seemed like a hustle for fichas bar. I did buy one of the dancers a drink. Then the mesero brought a second round to the table without being ordered. I asked the girl about going to the room and whe quoted $80. She was just ok. In any case I think I will walk on by the next time.

Just another Mexican business establishment that has something good to offer, but chases away business by tossing unendurable hustle towards anybody willing to poke their head inside the curtains. They have some good chicas there from time to time, and they can be EXTREMELY friendly companions in the booths, but you just never get a chance to take a breath without having to fight off shark attacks and the fastest ficha drink consumption in TJ.

Went in there this saturday night, They had AC on and it was the coolest place in the zona. The beers were $1.70 really cheap and had some nice looking girls in there and one was a mexican girl from america and spoke perfect english. She was really hot looking and just had a baby. I was there with a fellow monger from the board, the place was fixed up and was laid back and the AC was the best. Over all AC A+, beer $1.70 A+, girls C+, waiters A+ no harrassing. Nice place to chill.

I would think it would be a great place to have the next fiesta. The beer is already cheap it has AC and it was not crowded and is nice and clean. I would belive they would work with us just a suggestion.

I went in there last Saturday and Sunday night. Saturday the bar was packed(hardly) with about 15 people. Nothing really sleazy happened that night except for some of the dancers got fully nude and were comfortable with our groping.

Sunday night it was completely different as far as the sleaze factor goes. I went in there to see if one of the two nice ladies that my buddy and I had talked with the night before were there(they weren't). Anyway, I walk in through the curtain take a step inside and see that the only people in the place was the bartender, a girl dancing topless(even though there wasn't a single customer), Sergio(the waiter), and about five other chicas.

This place does provide airconditioning, on sometimes. It will never be as Isis or Unicornio but one of the overweight there fucked me, CBJ and offered to get me off with her hand, all for just buying fichas. I didn't finish because it all happened so out in the open. We were in the back part of the bar, at a table/bench. The locals in the front were enjoying the show. The mesaros police the action so when they were present it was just a lap dance. I gave her 200 pesos extra just for the rush my old body got from public sex. It was a Wednesday. The veteran chicas a heavy (except Alma & marie/Dulce) but last Friday I noticed new young thinner talent.

It was closed for a day I believe. Has been open all this year as best I know. Do know that it was open on Monday of this week.

For the newbies, this is the bar on the corner of the Alley (west end) that most people never get to. Its on the far end from the police substation, and you must pass the Hong Kong bar to get there.

Its expensive. The chicas mostly live off expensive fichas. There is some low grade stripping going on, a single chica sort of moving to the music. There are privados in the back, but I have never seen anyone go in one. There are stories about live action sex going on in the bar, but not many.
