Here are the changes which I observed upon a recent two-day visit to my favorite watering hole:

1) There are now numerous flat screen TV's adorning the walls all around the club.

2) The new sign above the mens restroom is in the singular article, "Gentleman," which should read in the plural, "Gentlemen."

3) The bar on the westside of the establishment is now almost complete, with fluorescent lighting and a marble-type finish. All it needs are a few finishing touches and a few holes in the ceiling patched up.

4) Many new chicas to choose from, along with the standard veterans chicas are there night and day.

The place has improved dramatically, giving it the cosmetic boost it needed.

Master Bates.

1) It's now $12.00 for the 30 mins.
2) Many sour attitudes and lack-luster performance.
3) Least amount of stunners (9's and 10's) I have ever seen.

I agree w/ Metalboots. I was in this ripoff last sun nite and did a quick walkaround. Coming out of the bathroom I noticed they had a hottttt stripper grinding on stage so I decided to stand there a bit and observe. In 5 minutes I was probably asked if I wanted something to drink 15 times with the last masero shining a flashlight from across the room making hand gestures if i wanted something. I was furious at the pestering. I also have been noticing that whenever someone goes to make a call on their cell that they automatically think your snapping pics of the chicas and they bring in the policia to escort you out or take your cell. So keep an eye out for this guys. I could go on and on about how much this place sucks but I'll only say that this isnt the same adelitas as 5,6 yrs ago. They could put a flat screen tv on every skanks face in this place and my opinion would'nt change. To all the newbies, don't believe the hype. A much better time can be had at Chavelas, Tropical or Hong Kong. Take care

As for the other responses, I appreciate any and all feedback. I concur with JBR1176, however, I recall making one post somewhere about the annoying pestering fucking waiters, along with the pushy chicas who wouldn't leave me alone when I was in there mid-day a few weeks ago.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who this happens to. I was down in tj like two wks ago on a monday and it didnt seem to bad. I actually find it much more relaxing during the wk, I just can never get down there wkdays. Anyways, let me know how sun. goes. As for me, I think I'm going to skip this wkend. Take care.

Just returned again from another very quick in and out bombing run. A section of the westside bar is roped off so the construction workers can finish the tile work on the floor.

Arrived there yesterday about mid-day again. Place was crowded as usual. The eastside bar is still partitioned off while they renovate the whole bar.

Place is looking real nice. I think it would be better if they knocked out one of the south or east walls, thereby further extending the floor space of the establishment. I had a long talk with the old headbanger "Gilligan" who always sits there at the back, and he told me the place is a madhouse on a saturday nights. He added you just can't move on the weekends, it's totally shoulder to shoulder.

Stopped by last sun before mtg with IAS. The place looks nicer, back area still cordoned off. Selection was WEAK at 5:30p, in fact a bit scary.

Will do another scouting mission this sun at a later time.

This is news to you Masterbates? I seriously believe that unless you are a newbie or most casual kind of visitor to the zona norte, that there is something profoundly wrong with anybody who makes a conscious decision to hangout at AB late night on the weekends. It is so fucking inhumane and nothing they've done with this remodeling is designed to change that.

What makes it all the more pathetic, is you can't even find a chica in there....it is 99% sausage. Yeah there are a tremendous number of chicas, but they are overwhelmed by the hordes of hardons and most of them deep in service in the hotel with only a small percentage of the chicas in the bar and available. Yeah, try to be selective...try to get to know a chica...try to relax.

This place sucks incredibly...on weekends.

Point taken Erip. I am one of those weekday scouts who venture down there on what appears to be, (Judging by the clientele lately at AB) senior citizen discount day!

It's not THAT bad! I was there the other night and found it to be just like you say.

But then! - This incredible chica grabbed me out of the crowd, lip-locked me for about thirty seconds, dragged me upstairs, did almost every nasty porn star thing you can imagine until I exploded in very nasty fashion.

Yeah.. ok.. she was my fav of triple digits who I haven't visited in over a year. But like The Senator says "It only takes ONE!!"

Erip is right on in regards to the weekends. I only go during the week to AB, weekends I try other places.

They re-opened the bar on the east side today. Nice circular design with about 10' round dance/pole stage on the side nearest the main dance stage. It seemed to open the place up, but nothing short of a couple of walls being blown out will help the mess this place is on weekend nights.
