Keep in mind that El Pollo is a real SMALL operation...people can rub against each other in a bad way over time in a place like this. "Basketball Girl" is the only non-imaginary chica I can think of at EP who has been around consistently over a long period of time. Alexis took off also not too long after she ceased to be a figment of imagination...I think her problems there may have been similar to Jaime's.

IMO, EP is content for the time being to flourish with the figments (who the managers work to keep under strict control). Big Shot mesero Alex told me one night out on the corner..."we all have to make our own choice". So like you said Superman, EP becomes the only place where chicas who exist only within the realm of imagination can work...this deeply into that realm that is. Real chicas like Alexis and Jaime move on when they realize they have acquired the power that comes with being real.
