I lived in Westlake Village in 1995 and it was hell getting to San Diego way back then. I can understand your pain. About the only time you want to make that drive is 3:00 AM.

Unfortunately, you broke no new ground here. Items already covered (if you had taken the time to read the TJ threads before posting)include: TJ cops are corrupt; street girls are a better deal than bar girls; knowledge of (perfect) Spanish will get you a better session; most street girls will not leave the zona to go to other hotels - unless you get to know them pretty well.

This is not what I'd consider an even average trip report. If you want to see some really good trip reports, click on the trip report links and read some of the competition winners from Brazil, the Philippines or Thailand. (Having written that, I must acknowledge the fact that I haven't written a trip report since the days of the old Redsnake board so perhaps I shouldn't throw stones.)

I do appreciate your reviewing some of the street girls, but to be really usefule for other TJ guys you need to be more specific on their locations. I'd be willing to bet a lot of pesos that there is more than one Adriana in the zona. Hopefully your effort will inspire some others to make contributions about TJ as they have been sparse for the last couple of years. I will concentrate on planning a trip to the PI this fall.

Sounds like you were on Constitucion, and the hotel you went to was the Diamante (light blue with a diamond on it).

If that is correct, then the street girl you are talking about is Adriana de Sinaloa. She is mid 20s, average looking, and speaks only a little english.

I like your post, and i find it useful. Dont worry about format, if people want it differently, then they will go down there, write on their experience and post. I know that when write, i write how I feel like it.

As for the repeats, its good to know that things havent changed and thats a good thing. you always hear that they are going to clean up TJ, and so when these things happen, it lets you know that things havent changed. im mexican, speak spanish, etc, and i thought that TJ sucked. I cant wait to go to Costa Rica in Aug. Just let u know that different strokes for different folks!
