SV;
Heh-heh.
I just bought the new Honda Spirit V-twin, and that's EXACTLY what I'm doing - erasing all hints that it isn't a Harley. The chicks just won't know the difference! I picked it up for $4999 new - but I've already dumped $2500 into it in accessories!

Thanks for the info guys...looks like I have a bit more research to do. Diego sounds like you got a great deal. SV what kind of bike do you ride? I'm not to much into the image thing, however I would like to check out Sturges some time, but riding in Mexico sounds like the most fun. I will check out the Hondas, I have noticed some new models in my magazines.

S.V. is right on the money.Harleys are overated.Dont be a poser,just look around & ask people you see on bikes about theirs.I would look at BMWs.Well made,high milage,dependable.Hondas are a good choice also.
I have a Harley& a BMW. The HD is a bar hopper anymore but the Beemer is for rackin up the miles.both serve a purpose. There is a lot of styles & makes so take youre time

Depends on WHY you want a bike. More than one gal I know say that Harleys have the vibration that gets them off, and the others just don't.
Anyone from here ever ride by the Rock Store?

A Harley is ur putt scooter a rice burner or Limey could never roll over the cams like the sound of a Harley ...... whoa wait a minute .... a bud just bought a Indian out of Corona, Ca., sure has the sound, good to have 'em back. Solo Angels out of Tijuana have a nice toy run every Christmas ..... everyone wears their colors and Revolucion from 1st. to 7th is solid scooters. I remember when the Galloping Goose's & the Red & White took over Tijuana one New Years eve ...... But like S.V. said, it wouldn't even come close to making the trip he did nor would many men.
..........turn the page

I love my Harleys.Currently have two (1980 Shovelhead)and a (2001 Fatboy with a 95 cubic inch
Bartels motor installed) Wouldn't dream of having anything else.Every year me and five of my
ex- military buddies ride cross- country to a different state.Never have had any major problems.
Long live the HOGS!!

Curiouos,
I haven't been to the rock store in about two years. This summer I plan to ride a lot more - possibly even to Tijuana if is hot enough.
Another great place after the rock store was the Sagebrush Cantina. Also enjoyed another place on a Sunday afternoon -- I think it is called the Oak Room.
