I was on a quick business trip to meet with my business partner in TJ the last weekend of last month. She was tied up with a client for Friday and Saturday when we had planned to meet, so I decided to indulge myself with La Zona. I live a lot further north than most of you, so I could not easily change my plans, much to my later delight.

I checked in to the Lucerna (highly recomended!) at about 11:30 PM, thanks to the usual Alaska Airline screw ups. I was fit to shit, and not a happy camper. Decided that, rather than kick the door several times, I would take off to AB.

Arrived at the magic red curtain about 12. BillFromRedington did a magic piece about the front door of AB a number of years ago, and it is still some of my favorite reading. Check it out, it is the essence of the "old" TJ! I am not a real fan of the "new look" at AB, however, I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that I could actually walk around a bit.

I did not find any of the old friends I was looking for, so I spent an hour with an new friend. I will save you the blow by blow, since I do not remember her name, but a good time was had by one.

After the knock, I went downstairs again to kill a bit of time before going to Miami to look up another old friend. Ran across a gringo who had a wife/girlfriend in tow, presumably "showing her the sights". Being a bit drunk, and in a pissy mood, I invited her to really savor the local ambiance. I would take her upstairs, eat her pussy for awhile, then fuck her, then give her a hundred bucks. Said boyfriend/husband took offence, but I could see she was considering it. The asshole decided to get tough, and I pointed out to him that he would spend a lot of time in the local after the waiters got through with him.
We did not part friends, but I hope he is a bit wiser.

OK, so I am an asshole, Sometime it is fun to hang out a bit, and I really had a good time the rest of my 48 hours in TJ. New streetgirl, most of the time first on your right as you come down the hill from Heros. She is 18, one kid, wears way too much green eye shadow, and is a lot of fun if you are not too cheap to spend some time with her!

The Federales were out in force. Couple of fat assholes with M-16's who have no idea what the weapon system is all about. I am afraid I will have to curtail my TJ runs in the future. An asshole with a rifle is a dangerous beast.

I love the M-16. I have a Match Target M4 and another Match Target Competition HBAR. Too bad you guys out in California have to register your assault weapons. Guess you guys will have to take on the looters with your daddy's shotgun.

The Federalis probably have the M16A1 versions with the lighter barrels. I can get nice 1.5 inch groupings from a 100 yards.

The grand daddy of my collection is the M1A Super Match. Nothing like it. Reach out and touch someone from 5 football fields away with incredible accuracy.

the best assault weapon IMHO is an AR-15, Colt Sporter. I'd never part with that.

I personally am rather fond of my M14's. My match version likes the 600 meter plus ranges. Never could get interested in the ar's, I think I do not like hearing the springs rattling in the stock.
