Hola Hombres,

Come to the patio behind La Tropa to celebrate my 47th birthday on Saturday night August 26. My birtday falls earlier in the week, but the Saturday party is to accomodate my out of town guests.

This will not be a fund raiser as we have done very well for the kids already, and will raise money again at Xmas time. Team Juanita chicas will be in attendence and working on a floor show, possible chica wrestling to entertain us.

Please no presents as your presence is presents enough. I want to encourage all long time friends and posters as well as newbies and lurkers to attend. The beer will be free and working on having free carne asada as well.

Don't be shy as there is no such thing as strangers, just friends I haven't met yet.

Sampson, I hope to be there but I have what is developing into a serious problem at La Tropa...your old amiga - mesera Lorena. She is cramping my action in that bar and telling all the chicas that I am her novio in a serious way - attaches herself to me the second I walk in the door and walks me around the joint like I am a fucking showhorse. I am usually pretty wise and crafty about these predicaments and have needed to be to extricate myself from her when other opportunities presented that needed attention, but it is still dragging me down to go in there.

Since you are both tuff and wise and you are aware of how dear and desperate she is, do you have any ideas? Could you perhaps persuade management to send her to work in Miami or LC that night?

Why don't you bring a chica? I can always tell her to leave you alone.

Milkman and Sampson, I ain't kidding I'm sorry to say. I appreciate your comments but it isn't that simple. I thought you might know me well enough to know that I like to "work the room" when I walk in more than just move in right away with any particular chica...especially at an occasion like this. I want to fish the getting more interesting La Tropa Pond not to mention some of the winners that Sampson walks around with. Hey guys, you know that the chicas can't get any business at the fiestas!!!

Plus, I'm not kidding when I say her hands are locked onto my arm like the handcuffs they'll one day put on Bin Laden before you can count to five!!! My amigos will attest...The horror!

I have been exercising numerous ingenious strategies to get loose of her sin dolor on recent adventures in La Tropa (yeah, LT is back to being a potent adventureland!), but having to be creative every time I walk in that door is not my idea of relaxing leisure - creativity being work for me. The "sin dolor" part is important. Of course she knows what's up too - just needs to be let down gently each time after not being able to resist trying to tie me up.

But actually, no problem - just venting frustration from recent occasions when she was so deeply in my way. Running clear of her will be much easier at a fiesta than just walking into the club on a regular night.

Sampson may be posting about a new location for next Saturday's party. From what I've read, La Tropa appears to be suffering a poorly timed closure.

It looks like La Tropa can handle it but maybe upstairs in the bar where we had the last one. I will post Monday after getting all the facts.

After consulting to my people, it looks like a venue change will be in order. My people say that La Tropa asked for $1200 for the party.

Well tell them nothing under 2.4k will do and we will look for another place

Who sez a "party" has to be booked? Everybody just flock over there as customers, buy your own beer and buckets ($1.50 for cerveza last Saturday night). We make our own party, not the club. We can survive without tacos for the 3 hours these events typically last and the cerveza will work better.

If something like a wild exhibition breaks out from among the Sampsonettes and possibly from our own ranks, La Tropa has never been the kind of club to squash customer spontaneity. What am I missing here? Probably plenty - I know.

La Tropa is so much the best space for these Fiestas with lots of floorspace plus the great outdoors. Good chica cast now with Pie and Primas in place, plus the masajistas plus the Sampsonettes.

If they would be open then I would agree with you Erip, but they are suppose to be sold on Monday the 21st. They wanted $1200 to open the doors of the upstairs bar and supply 300 beers and tacos for our people. It will not be open otherwise.

I should have a new place on Monday.

Manhattan huh? Interesting choice. Good choice. But I wonder where the La Tropettes will be going now? I had a La Tropa agenda pre-existing this Fiesta.

Are they selling the MP too?

Erip, who knows. It will probably be open and they could have done our party....I just cannot take the chance of sending my Hombre Amigos to a party that might not happen.
