2) The injuries (as described..so it's a subjective interpretation) don't sound like a beating as much as it sounds like rough grabbing. The bruise above the lip can come from a guy holding his hand over her mouth while he's behind her. The bruises on the arms, again from being grabbed and squeezed...likewise the ones on the butt and legs...especially when in "doggie" position.
