This place is on Revo, between Coahuila and 1st/Articulo 123. It's in the middle of the block, on the west side. I have been there a few times in the mid to late afternoon on a weekday, and it has been quiet.
IMO, this place is worth visiting once just to see the mural on the back wall. Some people in elegant but dated dress are playing pool/standing around watching, at the pool table that is clearly the pool table in this bar. Whoever caused this mural to be created appears to have had both visions of the possibilities of grandeur and a wistful realization that it was not going to happen.
If anybody has anything interesting to say about this place, I'd like to hear about it.

Ratablanca, I'm not certain about this exact location without looking at it, but I suspect that if you walked in there when it is busy at night many of the dudes you would see (including the cholos) would not in fact be carrying hammers in their pockets as it may appear, but instead are genuinely happy to see you.

Thanks Erip, That's not a shocker. Cool mural though.

I think the place with the guys "happy to see you is a little more North, like to the North of the Massage exit for La Tropa and this place is to the South....Maybe both places cater to similar crowds or maybe I am just confused as to which one is Tony's.

Seems that most of the joints on the west side of the block go in and out of a gay orientation depending on market conditions, and for awhile a few years ago, it even spilled over into La Tropa when at least one of the gay Revo hangouts closed. What a scene that was...sets of gay cholos sharing the dance floor with bored drugged LT chicas who were happy to get some movement going on in the dead club, but still couldn't get these guys to look at them.
