this place has good ceviche and the best micheladas anywhere. My ex spent $1200 there on mariachi music alone. I'm glad she didn't expect me to pay.

$1200?!? What is she thinking? That is twenty trips to the room! It must have taken her at least three or four hours to make that much.

Hey Elf, could I guess it was the blond Gabby?
Great food for half the cost from La Costa (across from Mexico Lindo). That fricking banda gotta go. Had a table close to the bar, farthest from that fricking 20-man band, and still got blasted from their music. I'd rather pay twice the cost for their great food and get that fricking banda out of their. I love music and entertainment during diner, but it was more like constant blasting in your ears than music. Couldn't carry a conversation with my gal who was just sitting a foot and a half away.
Rock on,

Why would you think that? I almost passed out when I saw the bill. I got there after her and Jenny had been there 4 hours. She was drunk and blamed it all on me! She said because we got in a fight the previous night she had to drink.
Everytime we fought, she got drunk and listened to depressing music according to Leslie

Went there for lunch yesterday, Tuesday afternoon. The Camarones de Mexicano Style (Shrimp Mex Style) was excellent! My girl had some cold shrimp thingy w/ lots of lemon juice that tasted pretty good also. We had the oyster plate for appetizer and had 2 beers, bottle of water, and a margarita. Total price , $38.00 , gave the waiter a five para propina. Service was excellent. The waiter kept coming by and attending to our table.
Gotta agree w/ the assessment on the fucking band tho. My ears almost went deaf listening to that crap they play. Its not that its bad music, its so GODDAM LOUD I think my ears started to bleed after the first minute. Good thing we were done eating already when they started up. We left about 10 mins after the band started playing.

WARNING: Went there last week, had some Camarones and clams, which tasted great. Besides the annoyingly loud bande music during the meal I had nithing to complain about. However, the next day I became diarrhea like never before. I spent the next 12 hours with cramps on the toilet seat. I thought through everything I did the days before and the only explanation is that I got it at Los Pinos.

Anywhere you go from Italy to Cape Cod to Mexico it is a risk eating Sea food.
Sorry you must have had a shitty attitude all that day

Don't you just hate it when that happens.
Sorry to hear that you got sick. I have eaten at Maricos Los Pinos a couple of times recently with no problems and that is sharing food back and forth with my amiga. We had some Camarones among other things but no clams. I enjoy the food. The chica actually likes the Mariachi music. The music is fine if I could hear it but my eardrums are always hurting after the first song so I dance in the aisles in pain.

I have been eating at this joint for years, and I have NEVER gotten sick, well, perhaps that is because I have an iron stomach
The food here is GREAT! And nothing beats eating some "mariscos", pistear your FAVORITE cold beer and listen to the live band play, this is what Mexico is all about, well...except the chicas of course!
BTW This music is NOT mariachi music, this is called "Banda Musica" which is band.

If you like Los Pinos, you should really like Godoy's in La Mesa. On the road that connects 5 y 10 and Via Rapida. It is on the east side of the street near the railroad tracks.
