Hello, everyone. I just wanted to give everyone a heads up on a new low cost express bus service called Megabus that services Tempe-Phoenix, LA, San Francisco, San Diego (including San Ysidro)and Las Vegas. Tickets start at a 1$ each way if you a few weeks in advance. This is not Greyhound, each bus is a luxury coach bus that only makes 1 stop on each trip and the riders are middle class. Downtown LA to downtown Phoenix is a 7 hour trip. From LA Megabus also services San Francisco, Las Vegas and San Diego (including San Ysidro). If you need a cheap way to travel during the holidays goto www.megabus.com and check it out. I am posting this bulletin because I use the Phoenix to LA bus to visit family in LA, but ridership has been low on that line and if it does not pick up the line will be eliminated. Also I goto TJ myself on occasion and will use the Megabus to goto San Ysidro in January so I wanted to post this for others on the board because I know a lot of people goto TJ here and this is an easy way to get there. You get dropped off at the border and then can walk to TJ or take a bus to TJ. Tell your friends about Megabus. Thanks and have a good one.
