Lola gave me a medio yesterday. Quiet, I just know she is 31 with two kids, single, in TJ for the last 3 years. Spent good attention to most body parts including feet.

Lola has hands of steel. She gave me a really deep massage. It was painful four or five times. I was about to ask her to lighten up, but I wanted to be manly. It felt good afterwards. My legs were all mottled afterwards.

I really got my money's worth, but I don't know if I will be brave enough to ask for her again.

If you want a deep massage, Lola is your gal. Stone-faced, hands of steel, and the personality of a Nazi prison warden. But overall, she gives the closest thing to a "real" massage I've had in TJ. As was said, though, sometimes she can go a bit too far, and I often wonder if she doesn't have a sadistic streak in her. She seems to like bringing me to the edge of tears and then seeing whether I'll cave and ask her to lighten up or just grin and bear it.

Ootie...this subject was discussed a while back. All the chicas seem to act a little strange when you hand them a tip. (I assume you gave it to her in the reception area on your way out.) Even the girls I have known for years just sort of look away and mumble 'gracias' when I hand it to them.

The tips are an important part of their overall income (note the signs posted on the wall of every room thanking us in advance for a propina). But in front of their co-workers they are shy about it. Tipping is associated with the sexual extras at all the other MPs in town. Perhaps on some level they are embarrassed.

I tipped her at the end of the hallway near the front desk, and it was in front of another worker. So maybe your theory is correct.

Ootie, retire any notion you have that you undertipped her. You tipped her generously by Azteca standards. As Bosco stated, the chicas are non-responsive to receiving tips as a rule. And given that, there are few masseuses who are LESS responsive than Lola when the propina is delivered.

However, I'm curious why the massage cost $25 instead of $20. Did they just raise their price or did you also get a "baño corporal" for which they tack on an extra $5?

The "mamasan" at the counter charged me $25. I thought that was the regular rate so I had no reason to dispute it (there might have been a sign or diner-type menu board near the counter that showed the prices also, but I can't remember for sure now). I did take a shower at the end of the massage though (Lola brought me slippers and a towel).

There is a price board in plain view. The shower is included in the regular massage rate. This is not the type of operation that would ever scam a customer. Conclusion: either they've raised the price and yours is the first report of that; or you were tokin' on premium mota before you went up the stairs and you became a short-term memory impaired kind of guy.

Since the only mota I'm familiar with is Manny (baseball), they either raised the price or they did not give me back $5 when I handed them $25 (thinking that the price was indeed $25).

I was there as recently as May 30, and the price was still $20 for the massage. They started at $15 when they first opened five(?) years ago. They went to $20 pretty soon thereafter. I think the $15 was a grand opening promotion.

The quality and length of the Azteca massages is incredible compared to anything in the states. When the pesos hit 11x1 the massages were actually $18 per. I always got double sessions (either same girl or 2 different ones). The guys coming down the stairs always say great! And it appears there are alot of different favorite massagers. There is a sign which has the prices on it at the reception area. I believe it says 20 bucks for the basic massage; that's what I've paid all the times I've been there (3). All times, I paid the girl a 5 buck tip at the end and they all seemed to act just like ootie said in the earlier post- like they didn't care. They all made sure I was aware that tipping was appreciated during the massage, however. During conversation, one of the girls told me she was "so poor, that's why I live for tips." The other told me that she didn't make anything except what she got in tips. Neither was said to suggest anything "extra" was on the table, but just to remind me that I should give them something extra. I was alittle put off by their statements, in any event.

I've had about 300 massages at Azteca and never once was tipping ever mentioned. I suppose alot of that has to do with familiarity - they are just trying to "train" new faces. The weekly salary is in the neighborhood of $30 for a six day week. So one $5 dollar tip is equal to the daily salary and is appreciated.

i have frequented azteca for years and have been a regular of Lola for a few years also. i have found her to always be pleasant, friendly and professional and for my taste her massage is virtually unmatched any anyone else at azteca. I am wondering if anyone has had the luck of receiving a hj from her or any of the other chicas there. I realize this seems to be unlikely but maybe there is someone who knows something that the rest of us do not know, someone who has found a way to get lucky with the great Lola but maybe not.

I've never heard of her giving HJ but IMO she may very well go for it with a known and trusted customer. I actually believe she's a horny chica to begin with. thanks for the input. What you said has such a ring of truth about Lola. i consider myself to be a trusted customer of Lola. I've been a customer of hers for over 4 years and we have good repoire. I know about her family life and she knows about mine but i have not dared to approach the subject or attempted to entice her to cross the line because i do not want to risk losing her trust and or losing her as my massuese but it is so tempting and as you stated she seems to know what she's doing. it seems as if she knows how to arouse her customers.
If you get any new info about Lola from your buddys or any experiences of your own with her let us know and if i get lucky i will do the same. There has got to be a way with her...
