I am planning on spending a few days in TJ from 1/1 til 1/4. I went to TJ for xmas a few years back and selection was terrible. Does anyone know if the selection of women is any better from New Years Day til 1/4? If selection is poor, when does it return to normal. Thanks.

Went to TJ yesterday and the selection was definitely not its usual. The street girl scene as well as Adelitas was noticeably thinned out. Probably about half the usual on a Saturday night at the alley, and I barely saw 30 girls at Adelitas. As far as when it returns to normal, probably a week afterwards. You'll have your hardcore group of SGs and BGs who'll stick around New Year's though.

It probably doesn't really get to normal until after Easter peaking in early fall.

I was through several bars on the 29th and 30th and was amazed at how many chicas that were working. I am sure New Year's eve was dead(chicas would prefer to spend that evening with their husbands and boyfriends) and probably sobering up on the 1rst. I am guessing tonight there is a good selection again.

How were the pickings relative to last year? I usually try to avoid TJ in January, but I have a mtg in CA in a few weeks and might make a run if the turnout looks to be good.
