Translates as, I believe, ¨The Cave of Hair¨! What a great name for a hooker bar! It's located a bit west of Titantic Bar, perhaps 1/2 mile west of 5 & 10 (cinco y diez), which is a heavily-trafficed intersection, of which, the east - west street is Boulevard Aqua Caliente, unless it has changed names by then, and Blvd. AC is the southeast bearing street that Revolucion turns into.

Peludo Bar is on the left (north) side of the street. A red and black taxi can get you there (and back, at any time), for about $.50, from Centro (downtown), third (or fourth?) Ave, west of Revolucion or Constitucion.

At any rate, Mexican co-workers told me to check this place, I now suspect, based mainly on the name of the bar. Since I go out to 5 y 10 a lot anyways, I have, at various times of the day and week, dropped in. Physically, the bar itself is as nice as any in La Coahuila (Zona Norte). They have some nice strip shows, somtimes, climaxing faster - one song - than Zona shows (2-3 songs). So, I liked that. One of the shows was of three girls(?); they did not strip, and looked quite flat-chested. Did not like that! So, to spell things out, beware of the gender-confused.

The # of women is typically small, and # of attractives, quite small. Staff told me they go up, for $40-50+; and they do have a hotel easily available. I've never used it. I'd figured the prices would be real bargains, so far from the Zona, and serving few well-heeled gringos. But, my co-workers also have dashed my hopes on that.

Still, perhaps worth a look-see, if you are in the area on a Friday or Sat. night. I've always felt quite safe here, and walking all the way to/from 5 & 10, and I'm just a li'l fellow.

La Cueva del Peludo I am told means the Cave of the hairy man. Or loosely translated to the caveman’s place. Anyway, This is a Mexican bar! If you look like Opie and/or you don’t speak Spanish you should probably stay away. I have taken chicas there and have gone with Mexican friends and had a good time.

The Mexicans will test your resolve. I have been pushed and shoved on the dance floor and the bar in general. I got respect when I shoved back. There was an incident there about six months ago where someone sprayed the inside with bullets. Weapons abound in this place.

Because it is a Mexican bar the women are generally mas gorda (some mexicans like them that way) but I've seen some hotties. And yes pussy is for sale. The hotties will generally be with someone. Don’t think you can stare at a chica who is with an hombre.

Anyway I have been there more than several times and never had a really bad incident and you may enjoy it. Just keep in mind “We’re not in Kansas (Zona Norte) anymore Toto!”
