Translated, ¨7 Cups Bar,¨ this is in far-east Tijuana. Still, a red and black collectivo taxi can get you there, for, as I recall, just $.50 one way, and back to Centro (downtown Tijuana), anytime, and the taxi drivers all seem to know where this place is. It is on the south (right) side of the road, the same road (after some name changes) that was Revolucion, many miles before. My concerned Mexican co-workers recommended this place, also, in addition to, La Cueva del Peludo Bar, which I just finally got around to posting about, also. I believe my co-workers want to make sure I examine the most far-flung of Tijuana's hooker bars! Incidentaly, I do construction work, of what is classified as heavy, large-scale commercial structures. And, I don't make a practice of - and don't recommend - discussing The Hobby with co-workers, even those you think might, by living in Tijuana, be into it.
Not knowing the neighborhood, I went out in the middle of the day, last summer. The tempurature actually was not too hot. The neigborhood was middle-class Tijuana, with a nice looking, large, new grocery store across the street(north side).
The bar looked nice; the waiters, not too pushy, seemingly a bit bemused by the rarity of an actual, real-live gringo there (tho, that may have been me, over-inferring). I was told the women, at least some, go up, for $40+. I was actually surprised to see a few attractive women there. Given that it was a weekday, mid-day, that bodes well, for Fri/Sat nights. As with nearly all hooker bars, there is an associated hotel.
I walked around for a couple of hours on the main east-west street, and felt quite safe. A bit startled, to be sure, when a car wash worker happened to, at that moment, get the gas peddle stuck, and crashed, at high speed, into a brick wall, knocking it over, onto another car.
Took a different colored routa (collectivo) taxi back to Centro. Passed by the main (at that time) prison, later, the upscale Zona Rio, and back to Centro.
Please e-mail me, if you are interested in going exploring Tijuana sometime, and have room for me. I'll be happy to pay for the gas, or go in routa taxis.

Hola Avisar
its funny I always bump into you all over TJ.
I used to go to this Bar a lot last year.
I wrote about it but most whiteys are scared to venture outside the gringo zona.
It is called Seita da copas I think.
The collectivos have now raised their prices to 75 cents. This is located in Le Mesa way past Titantic. The club has horrible live bands and decent chicas. It is more like a norteno type of place with Cheeseplate scams for the locals -hahaha
I go to a disco/ficha bar close to here every once in a while to pick up local La Mesa chicas !
Glad to see you are venturing out !
Take care
Milkman

"Copas" is (also)a suit of playing cards.
If it's the 7 de copas, that's probably what they are talking about.

Siete de Copas, Seven of Cups. A card from a Tarot deck. No clue as to the significance. This bar is under the same ownership as Titanic, Cuevo del Peludo, La Tropa, Miami/Hong Kong, Las Chavelas, & Tropical.
