negotiation is the key with the sg's

make sure you reach an understanding before you go to the room on exactly what services you will receive for what amount of money. don't assume anything, you have to go so far as negotiating "sin ropas" or else she may leave her top on or a leg of her pants

also the hotels in general are not very good, most have no shower

i would start with one of the more popular ones that you know, from reading here, will most likely give good service. also know that when taking on an unknown entity there is definitely the possibility of a DFE

Also when you concern yourself with safety, you need to be able to distinguish the real SGs from the so called "walkers". The SGs stick to one spot to do business and are technically "within the system" (i.e. have health cards), though it is TJ so there are always exceptions. The walkers are always outside the system - they never have health cards, and with the exception of the doorway to the Monitos Hotel where many of them stay and work (Constitucion just before Tacos Primos on the way to CC), they never stay put. They are down and outers, deportees, and almost always drug addicts, gringas on the run, and some have significant criminal backgrounds - but usually associated with drug habits. There are a couple who are very nice looking and extremely sweet, but if you want to play the percentages, stay away from them. These chicas are the most likely to be STD carriers including HIV. They typically do anything with anybody for very little money out of sheer desperation.

I realize this post will cause more mongers to seek out walkers than avoid them. I lost a friend who lived in TJ to AIDS not too long ago. His only action in the zona was BB sex, mostly with walkers. He also did some foreign travel so nobody really knows for certain where and how he was infected, and he wasn't even aware of any symptoms until he had full blown AIDS which took him quickly if not mercifully. It wasn't so long ago that many of the Monitos girls who he came to specialize in aren't still around and likely to have had uncovered sex with him.

Well, my predilection when I did my regular TJ runs a couple of years back was always the SGs.

I started by only doing the girls working by the bigger "nicer" hotels (Cascadas) after a couple of trips branched to Eduardo chicas and on and on. Soon I was partaking on any chica that drew my fancy that had a clear association with a hotel and looked good (meaning not wired on something) I ended up doing chicas up and down the street in the callejon as well as the main street and that leading from the arch to the main street (where I found more than a couple of jewels, anyone remember Sandra?).

Not once did I have a problem inside the hotel..and a couple of them where sketch big time inside. As far as service it was maybe once or twice that I had to abort, lost the money for the room, but the chica was getting demanding asking money ahead of time, changing the deal in the room so I said fuck this and moved on on losing the room cash.

Follow the advice of the previous posters, I think is accurate.

Also note that, in the event you fancy one after a session, they have super good memories. If you repeat with them (sooner or later) there is a good chance your repeat visit will result in improved quality.

Repeats lead me to get 'extras' without paying more: multiple positions, complete nude, BJ. Having said that my reason to monger is that I am super hooked on variety so could not exploit the fringe benefits too much...oh well.

BTW, once you get comfy and if you are adventure seeking and your spanish is semi-decent you can try the smaller bars for locals. There you can pick up some waitresses or in house free lancers for similar prices as SGs. Not a lot of lookers but there is an occasional honey (who will not last long there you can bet)
