That week as well as early Jan are worse weeks of the year in terms of selection.
Xmas eve, are you kidding?
Xmas day, expect 5 to 10 chicas at AB, 1 or 2 at CC. I was there 2 years ago and will never try that stunt again.
New year's eve, regular shift except many chicas go to different fiestas so many will work a partial shift. I was there last year and will never try that stunt again.
The border crossing should not be worse than usual.
Not the best week to hunt but you'll find ways to get the job done I am sure.

I have spent several of the past few New Years Eve at CC. Some years it was really really slow. The slowest was the year I toasted in the New Year with MuleLip and his GF. And then went upstairs with Alma.
So even in a really slow year it was a blast!
There will be fewer chicas than usual, but many will come in late after being at parties, all dressed up like you normally would not get to see. Kinda fun!
I have always managed to have fun, like Athos says, it only takes one chica...
YMMV warning: The FDA requires that I attach the following warning label to this post. I am easy. I am not as picky as some here. I like to have fun, and am easy going, and also well known at CC. YMMV.

wnt down on thanksgiving and coming back across the border was a breeze. never crossed so fast in a car. i think we waited like 15-20 minutes. fourth of july was very quiet also this past yr.
Last Xmas day I crossed into the US at 1:00 PM (that's PM not AM) and there was literally NO WAIT. I drove right up to the inspection booth.

yeah i crossed on the fourth and labor day with no line. i don't remember how long it took me to cross on thanksgiving, but it took me over two hours to get to oceanside(5 north). the traffic was worse than i have ever experienced. i turned around and came back at las pulgas.
