Saturday December 7
Been over a year since I was in the land of wonders. Spent a week on other business, then finally got a plane to San Diego. Jumped the bus to the trolley, then down to the border ($2.25, hell of a deal). Five bucks more, and I was at Villa de Zaragoza, thanks to advice from Billfromredding and some of the other people.
Hotel Villa
Very similar to the Motel 6 in San Ysidro, my previous "normal" haunt. Same worthless window air conditioning, etc. However...
The food was great, and the place down the street even better. I wake up early, even after late nights, so getting up and getting coffee was well worth the effort. It is quiet! The Internet Cafe next door was really handy, and I could do no wrong there after I fixed the guys printer.
To the Baracades!
Off to the Zona, since I am not a strip club kind of guy. Ended up with SG Braeda (see posting under Bretha). Had a very good time, and will not bore you all with the physics, as I think we all know how the parts fit together. She was a lot of fun, and I looked forward to seeing her again.
On my way out of the hotel I ran into the famous Rosa Maria. She has been one of my favorite people, and I was determined to give it a try, even though I was not too confident. I should have never doubted this lady s ability to work wonders on about anyone!
Up the hill for my second favorite TJ addiction, a massage at Azteca (corner 2ed and Rev, third floor above a club). For those of you who have not indulged, "the massage is non-sexual in nature, please respect the therapists". By TJ standards, the place is immaculate. The stairway is newly painted and clean, the rooms and showers clean and fresh smelling. Twenty dollars and a tip purchases about an hours worth of deep, relaxing soft warm hands, and a good shower with shampoo, soap, comb, etc. I have been known to go in a couple of times a day.
Since I was pretty well worn out from the previous week (and the early afternoon's activitys), I grabbed some chicken off my favorite street cart and went back to the Villa for a nap. Woke up about 9:30, washed, and grabbed a cab for the Zona. Five minutes, I was standing elbow to tit in the middle of Saturday night in Hottie Central. Talk about a rush! I just stood there and took in the ambiance and thanked the stars that I was alive and in TJ! After a bit, a long, tall morena caught my eye at the north end of the bar to the left of the front door. Tall, hour-glass figure, nice B cups, wonderful smile, all that good stuff. (OK, I am the world's worst reporter, I did not note her name!). In la cama, she went into the superbitch mode (hate it when that happens!). "Oh you are so sexy I just cant help myself", and how fast can I get you off? It happens, problem noted, no repeat business.
Back to the bar for another agua mineral and eye candy, then a quick reconisance to Chicago, Tropical, La Tropa, and the bar just west of AB (forgot the name), just to make sure that all was right with the world. Back to the Villa, long sleep.
Sun Dec 8
Sunday, up late (for me), and down to Ricardo's for breakfast. Wonderful huevos con Carne Machaca, and better coffee. Morning stroll down Rev was interesting, watching the touts gear up for the day. It was kind of fun to watch them do a double take, kind of like a bad hunter who is not quite ready to see game yet! Found a Cuban cigar and coffee place on the east side of Rev, just north of 2ed. Can't do the cigars, but the coffee was great. The Internet cafe across the street is open 24 hours (the one next to the Villa opens at 10:30), and is a buck an hour. Spent a few hours, and even fixed a few problems on a friends server. Great place to work, wonder if I can figure out how to make it a perminant position?
About 10:30, walked down the hill and into Adaletas. If you have never been there at opening, I recommend it as an "interesting experience". The place is clean, and often quiet, kind of like a stadium the day before the big game! Back out onto the street, and I couldn't resist a stroll through the alley. Spend a forgettable half hour with a young lady who caught my eye. Never did get her name; I do not think she spoke much Spanish. Tall, thin, A cups, very Indian looking, but not much into what she did. Back to the Azteca for another hour of bliss!
Went back to AB about 2:30. Wandered a bit, and the gods smiled again! Tanya! She did not recognize me, or was enough of a lady to pretend, and we played whats-my-sign for a few minutes, then up to the room. She is truly one of the great people in the world.
Supper, then back to la zona for an evening's debauch. I spent about 2 hours checking out the talent, and finally went upstairs with a tall thin ice queen from Hong Kong. Did not remember her name, nor much about the rest of the experiece, as it was most forgetable.
Mon Dec 9
The am was pretty much a repeat of Sunday. Took myself through the alley about 11:00, and ran into Braeda again. Amazing attitude change! Still very pretty, and spectacular body, but no nothing in la cama. Too bad, she could really be a super star!
Tried to chat up a very young looking spinner sitting at the left bar that afternoon. I tried to strike up a conversation, but she did not speak any English, and looked scared half to death that an old man was trying to talk to her! She ended sitting with a Mexican gent, staring away from him at the wall. Definite newbe, and I will be interested to see what develops when I am back in a couple of months.
Tuesday Dec 10.
I had obligations which would take me away that afternoon, but decided that a quick run to AB was in order. Ran in to Kenia (Daytime dancer), and had a really nice session with her. I usually prefer smaller (and small brested) women, but she is a joy. Very enthusiastic, lots of positions, and not in a hurry. She is on my to do again list. Returned to La Villa to pick up my bag. Border took about 25 minutes.
Thursday
Thursday found me wending my way south again, this time be auto. Parked in a lot about 100 yards north of the motel just across from the trolley stop. The main attraction was the price, $4.00/day, rather than for 8 hours. Note for future reference that "day" runs from 8:00 am to 8:00 am. Also, I would not particularly want to walk alone down that street late at night.
Arrived at Hotel Coahilla about 11:30, and checked in. Price is up to $35.00. I remember $28.00, but it may have been the screw the gringo special. However, it fit my planned needs perfectly. My plans were to check out the Alley, make a pass through AB, then up for a masage, dinner, and the evening at La Tropa,
Made a pass through the alley, looking for Rosa Marie. No joy. Went by the Internet cafe to check out time for the get together at La Tropa, and found that it was a benefit for the orphanage. Note to self that the Internet cafe on 2ed has spanish keyoard layout, which made some correspondance really hard. I never did find the @ key! Spent some time looking for an appropriate toy for the fiesta, then returned to the hotel and dropped it off. From the sounds coming out the front door, sounded like AB was getting fired up, so I dropped in about 2:00. Turned left through the front curtain, and ran in (litterly) to an old fav. Five minutes later, up to la cama. Next thing I knew, it was 7:30 in the evening, we were both starving, and about burned out. Pretty wonderful afternoon! We went down to the resterant below the hotel. My first time there, and the food in excellent. Dropped the fav off, then down the street to La Tropa. If I looked dazed when I arrived, it was because I could barely walk. I think I am in love! Kind of interesting to see a bunch of guys going in to a brothel with gift wrapped (or in my case not wrapped) toys. Met a bunch of good people from the Board, laughed a lot, oogled the chicas (particularly the dancer who did the beer, icewater, and finally the shower!) I never did run into her later, but put her on my to do list. One of the few I have seen who looks a lot better without her clothes than with!
Went by Chicago just to see the sights. My what a lovely set of sightes there were. Ran into another old flame. Explaned that I was about done for the evening, which she took as a chalange. Upstairs we went, me expecting nothing more than some nice skin to skin affection. Thirty minutes later, after an amazing cbj, I lost that bet.
Retrospective
Might as well fill in the necessary philosophy. Toughest part of la zona is leaving, even though I have been a devotee for damn near 20 years. Somehow returning to "the real world" is never easy. Another thing I have noticed, and it is getting a lot more evident recently, is the way a drip south causes me to look at the average female on the street after I return. I cannot help but think " $20", "$60", "$50" as I walk through the airport. Wonder if that is because so many of them are dressing like the chicas in la zona? Just a thought.
