The cutest girls are ice queens because they can get away with it. Find a girl who is young, seems inexperienced, and layback. Watch her for a while. If she smiles at you a few times without coming over, that's a good sign. She is waiting for you to come to her. Chat for a while, friendliness is the most important and good English is important too. Talk for at least 5 minutes. If you get a good friendly vib, ask her the price and if OK, go upstairs.

Back in the days when I frequented TJ, if a girl spoke good english, she was certainly not inexperienced. Speaking spanish there is a big plus for a monger. Good luck with the hunt.

Just my humble opinion.

Totally true. Much better to learn enough spanish and find chicas who speak not a single word of english. They are the best. But there are certainly exceptions as some of the all time legends past and present do speak English. Think Tania (la famosa), Smith/Alejandra, and Claudia (present day legend). There are more. But generally, you are better off with non-English speaking chicas and better off away from Adelita Bar which is where you find most of the English speakers.
