Anyone see the report from Canal 12 Sunday about Tijuana's hoteles del paso? I they interviewed a manager from a chain from Hermasillo, and Mexicali, and he defended the privacy of clients.

News reporters and the Director of the Prepa #1 and others said they didn't like these establishments in their neighborhoods and asked the question, "How is Tijuana going to change its image to the world with these establishments."

The news report looked like an attempt by the reporters to stepup a campaign to clean up the city of adult businesses. I was amused how the reporters talked all around the subject they insinuated was going on in the hotels, but never mentioned that the hotels exist for clients' sex.

What kept me interested in the report, was I was wondering if I had been caught on film, or if I could recognize someone from this board. No, I didn't recognize you. They only showed one customer, but he was not interviewed.

It's hotel de paso not del paso. Do you remember which hotels they showed ie El Parador, Los Pinos etc?

They never mentioned by name any of the hoteles de paso, but they shot film in front of Adelitas, Chicago, El Parador, Los Pinos and several others that I think were near Agua Caliente Blvd and in Otay. I didn't really make a list, and the lighting was very dark. All you could see was a sign.
