On the right hand side of Paseo de Los Heroes passing Guadalajara restaurant. Nice relaxing place with a big waterfall locates right in the middle of the restaurant. Lunch for two with drinks came out to be 22 bones. I think they should rename their restaurant to be "Casa de Licores" because two of the three-pages menu were filled with drinks, mix drinks, beers, and liquors. The patrons were 1/2 Americans & tourists. Stay away from a dish named something like "....diadeblo/a" or something like that...it is the juicy small pieces of steaks covered with chili paste. It was too spicy to finish the dish.

"Casa del Mole Poblano" also serves "lengua en crema de cilantro" which is excellent beef tongue in a cream of cilantro sauce. (NOT hot)

There are two Casa del Mole Poblano. Do they have the same menu?

Paseo de Los Heroes is further away from the border and La Zona that Mole Poblano #1, which is a 15 min walk from AB. #1 is more local but has great food, I have not eaten at #2.

I had the Mole Poblano, but was dissapointed with the tenderness of the chicken and also wasn't as spicy as I expected. I'm trying something different next time? Also I wanted a refill of pineapple juice and had a hard time getting the waiter's attention (and I'm Mexican). I'm still giving it another chance before I choose not to return again.
BTW, it's closer to BabyRock than it is to Guadalajara restaurant.

WHERE: 10511 Paseo de los Heroes
DIRECTIONS: Go east on Paseo de los Heroes about 2 city blocks east of Baby Rock on the West side of the street, just before Calle Mision San Diego
CLOSEST MONGERING: Therapeutica del Rio Massage Parlor on Mision San Diego
RATING: 3 STARS
FOOD: Many different types of moles sauce dishes. Many of them have different textures and spices than what one is normally accustomed to when eating pollo de mole.
ATMOSPHERE: Very airy and comfortable restaurant with Spanish tile and plenty of folliage. Nice place for a date.
PRICE: 5-8 dollars per entre.

There are two Casa Moles. One is 10 min walk from AB. I think this was the first, good and cheap.

I have been to the Casa de Mole with the water falls. I enjoyed the pollo de mole very much.
Where is the Casa de Mole that is a few minutes walk from AB?

#1 at Aquiles Serdan. Check hungryhiker for review and directions.

There's no way it's a 10 minute walk from AB. It might be a 10 minute walk from Pueblo Amigo. Aquiles Serdan runs parallel to Paseo Centenario but it's in Colonia Libertad.
