Another oil massage place has been opened by a couple of ex-Tulip girls. This time Jane and Nadia recently opened the new shop. On the plus side the girls are trained "the Tulip way" and from my one session there (with Grace) it meets the Tulip service standard. Also on the plus side is the facilities are better than Tulip's although I did pay an extra 150 baht for a VIP room, which included a real bed (although more like a twin than a double), a bathtub (thereby allowing for a soapie-like experience but one without the air mattress), and full-length mirrors on the wall and ceiling.

On the downside it is about a ten-minute walk from the Phrom Phong Skytrain station (the one next to the Emporium), and there are only a few girls working there now.

To get there you walk up Sukhumvit Soi 39 until you reach Soi Prom Si 1 and turn right onto Soi Prom Si 1. You will see a gas station on the left side of the street, and Victoria is across from it, on the right side. A word of warning though: there is a Soi Prom M . . . (I can't remember what replaces the . . . ) just before you reach Soi Prom Si 1 but you must walk past it and continue on Soi 39 until you reach Prom Si 1. Since I was using a GPS to find the place, I can't say though whether the streets are clearly marked.

Although she wasn't really my type, I liked Jane personally when she was at Tulip and hope her new venture succeeds. I am concerned about the location though and hope this does not deter too many people from visiting. If in Bangkok it might be worth walking the extra few minutes (or getting a taxi) to check it out and support the place. As far as Tulip-style oil massage places go, the more the merrier!

I neglected to mention pricing (with the exception of the VIP room surcharge of 150 baht) is the same as Tulip, Snow White, and Mango Massage: 800 baht house fee for two hours, and 1500 baht mandatory tip to the girl for sex (including at least two shots, and usually BBBJ and anal if desired, although the latter may not be available with all the girls--you can ask).

Laguy: What kind of GPS did you use? Stand-alone? Built into a phone?

One of the Garmin's, I think it is a Colorodo 300, meant primarily for walking. I bought the Southeast Asia maps, which have come in very handy in Thailand and I'm guessing it will help in Indonesia.
