So here is my two cents on this based on recent experience.
If I barfine at 7 or 8 pm and we go straight back to the hotel, it is going to be a shortime. From her perspective and mine. Also, if I barfine from Perimeter at 3 it is going to be a shortime. Although I may fuck her twice and kick her out around 8.
What the hell are we going to do with 12 - 16 more hours in the room? Now maybe we can go barhop or eat or something after sex and I don't know if that is what everyone is doing and the lady still wants to go.
Now, if I barfine early, say 7 to 9, then we go barhop or whatever and get back to the room at 2 or 3 or 4 in the morning, then fuck, I guarantee you 99% of the time the lady is going to stay the night and I will get 1 or 2 more rounds of sex.
Same applies if I barfine late, say after 1 or 2 and have played in the bar with her for a while.
1. She is going to be tired and probably a little drunk by then.
2. I have air conditioning.
3. I have a comfortable bed.
4. I have just spent the past 4-6 hours with her and hopefully she is pretty comfortable around me by now.
I guess there are other considerations for people who live in AC, long time residents, people who don't like to stay up late, this doesn't fit their particular style, it didn't use to be this way in (insert previous year when AC was better), etc.
But the above seems to be working for me. And I am barely even trying.

That sounds pretty sensible. When I barfine a girl early, it's almost guaranteed to be ST. I've yet to meet an AC bargirl who is stimulating enough company to spend more than a few hours with in any place other than a bed.

Obvious question: Why not barhop with the girl after you already banged her once?
I do the same thing on vacation re: setting girls free after a couple rounds and then looking for the next one, so I don't get that uppity over girls telling me "short time only", as often that's what I want too. But for my first several years of going to AC, that phrase only existed on Santos St.
To get value from the ST only girls, I get her # and try to get a discount the next time we "short time only".
