I have wondered about this place since it opened a few years ago. The Grand Millenium is a nice looking tower located on Soi Asoke, about 150 meters past Soi Cowboy. On my last trip to Bangkok earlier this year, I checked in for a 4 night stay after validating that it was guest friendly.
The hotel's web site:
http://www.millenniumhotels.com/th/grandmillenniumsukhumvitbangkok/index.html
The hotel exceeded expectations. The room was excellent, the bathroom was killer, with a rain shower and a large sunken tub. The glass wall from the tub to the main room was also a big plus.
For Soi Cowboy fans, the location is perfect. And it is close enough to both the subway and skytrain stations to qualify as convenient for frequent users of those transportation modes.
Most importantly, it was guest friendly. When you bring a girl in, she needs to leave her ID with the security desk, which is located along the way to the elevators. If the desk is unattended, then the girl can leave her ID at the front desk.
A tip to those who are bringing a girl from Nana Plaza. Once you grab your cab on Sukhumvit, have the driver go past Asoke, and then turn left down Soi 23, the next soi past Asoke. This will take you down the backside of Soi Cowboy to the back entrance to the hotel where you can get dropped off. Don't let the driver turn down Asoke, as the hotel is on the wrong side of the road, and you won't be able to turn into it.
In my best homage to Xenono, here are some shots of my room and bathroom

Nice what is the rooom rate?

It varies depending on the season. I paid around $125 a night. I booked it through agoda.com.

Update time, as the "hotel butterfly" recently stayed here again as well. Of all the hotels I have stayed at in Bangkok thus far, the Grand Millenium is my favorite. It is still very guest friendly. They also do a daily "turn down" service in which they replace any towels that were used during the day.
The bed is EXTREMELY comfortable for side-sleepers. Love it. And the bathroom rocks.
Also for those of you with a serious sweet tooth, the bakery in the lobby slashes everything to 50% off after 6 pm every day. They close at 8. Take note. The stuff is scrumptious.
Check Agoda for specials. I recently scored a room through Agoda for $87 a night, or $100 a night including the taxes.

So doing Agoda will give you a better rate than directly with the property's website? Any downside with booking through this 3rd party website? How does it compare to AsiaRooms.
With all the HOTELS in your recent TR, is high-speed internet access included in the rate? Buffet breakfast?

I can't answer if Agoda will always give you a better rate, because I don't always check the hotel's site. Agoda has a rewards program that I have racked up a lot of points with, so I usually just stick with them. When I have compared, they have been the same or beaten the hotel.
For breakfast, it depends on what you book. Adelphi included breakfast. Dynasty Grande and Millenium didn't. Don't know about internet access as I don't travel with a laptop.
