I started this thread to gather a list of "Cheap Charlie" Angeles City hotels, apartelles, and apartments.

Please post hotels that you know of which are under $30. If you can, also give a website link, how far its from either Fields or the Perimeter and other details. Please also say if you have actually stayed there or just know of the hotel and posting it up for our information.

One thing that I know for certain is that most under $30 a night Angeles City hotels are usually very negotiable. Two negotiation points are how long you will stay (better prices for longer stays) and if you will pay in all cash.

Many of the under $30 a night hotels do have issues such as noise, dated furniture, rundown look, etc, but you cant expect the world for a cheap stay. All you can really expect is a bed, a maid who does an OK job, a somewhat functioning AC and a somewhat functioning TV with at least some cable channels. So I would not make a reservation at one of these places expecting a perfect experience.

I will start by posting up the Walkabout Hotel. I heard about this one in the "Chat" section of the board. I heard they give you 10% discount if you pay in cash and 20% if you are a member of the Asian Escapades website. I bet you could probably haggle them if you can guarantee a long stay.

Donald Paul Apartelle
I heard about this one on the Margarita Station website. If you stay for a month then it comes out to about $17 a day. I hear its down by the Hygeine clinic.

Right on Fields Ave and they have rooms for $27 a night. Since its attached to an actual bar, I am betting there will be some noise...

I walked by the "Donald Paul Apartelle" and it is across from hygeine clinic. It looks like a perfectly acceptable place to stay and not too far from the action. You may want to access it off MacArthur at night as the route that goes past Wild Orchid can be a bit desolate.

If you are a real cheapskate, check out the SOGO national chain (Phils Motel 6). I think the nearest one to Fields Ave is by the mabalacat DAU bus station.

I have heard that the Brass Nnob on parimeter is a decent hotel for a good price. I am booked there in December. Rooms start at 1000p. They are gving me 10% discount for cash as well.
