The hotel prices will depend on what area you are going to, and what you expect in a hotel. In the Philippines a hotel like Cascadas in Tijuana would cost you around P500 a night. ($10) I haven't seen many hotels like that over there, but I'm sure they exist.
The hotels I've stayed at were all in Angeles. They range from P750-P1250. The P1250 hotels are about as nice as a Holiday Inn. The thing is you wouldn't be able to tell from outside because the rest of the area isn't all that spiffy. What are you concerned about as far as a hotel, and in what area will you be staying?
I can give you info on Angeles, and I believe there was another monger on here who knows something about Manila.

By the way, you can stay 59 days if you tell them you are "balikbayan" and your wife is Filipina (you are going to meet her).

Will be in Makati in March and wondered if anyone had any ideas for a good hotel to stay at in about the $50 to $60 price range. I will be with my Filipina girlfriend so unless I can sneak away I don't really need one that allows barfine girls.

The City Gardens hotel in Makati has great rooms for between $40 and $60 a night. Nice hotel and great staff. There is a pool and jacuzzi on the roof with a great view of the city. The roof also acts as a bar/restaurant at night where you can sit around and have a few drinks. But I didn't much care for the food.
Bringing girls back to the hotel must be ok because while there I saw several guys with their young Filipino girlfriends going in and out and one guy with two girls in the jacuzzi during the day. I thought it kind of funny because the girls appeared to being using their bra and panties as swimwear.
A good place to look for discounted rates is Asiatravel on the web.
P.S. This hotel is in a great location. Only 1 block away from Burgos street which is where most of the bar action is located.
