Traveling southern beaches & islands i stopped here one late nite for a visa run to Burma. Hotels have info & will call for you a visa run service. A van picked me up from my hotel at 7am next day. There were about 8 other foreigners in the van. Drove to jetty. Got Thailand exit stamp. Long tail boat across the river to Kawthoung, Union of Myanmar. Next to pier we got our entry (good for 2-weeks stay)& exit stamps. Boat back to Thailand. Van dropped me off at my hotel. From hotel pickup to dropoff trip took about 2.5 hrs. Cost 400THB + 10USD for Myanmar entry.
