Phachara Suites is new, opening its doors on Soi 6 in 2010. It is located directly across the soi from the Dynasty Grande. I recently gave it a test trial, and give it a thumb's up. The location is excellent, it is very guest friendly, and there is a decent breakfast buffet (230 baht if you don't get it with your room).

They also have two free Macs in the lobby for guests to use. Way cool. The only drawback was that the shower stall was on the small side, not good for those of us with large wingspans.

I booked with them through Agoda, and got my room for about $75 a night. So yes, it is a bit on the pricier side for the Nana area hotels, but they do run specials as well. I was there during high season, so I'm sure you can do better during other times of the year.
