I snipped these two clips from "The Standard" in Hong Kong during a recent visit and thought I would share as they gave me a good chuckle. Gotta love the Asian newspapers for printing comments or headings that would never see the light of day here, outside of The Onion.
I love the double entendre in the heading for the tycoon article (this guy is obviously one of us!). And the reference to the model in the car article would generate a slew of angry e-mails and post to a paper here that would dare mention that.

My company buys allot of expensive manufacturing machinery and occasionally I attend large trade shows for such machinery in America. Until about the mid 90's it was common for American companies to have smoking hot models in bikinis standing next to the machinery they were exhibiting, as window dressing. But alas, this is California and the pervasive political correctness that insinuates itself into every aspect of life in this country dictated that this business practice must come to an end, and the bikini models were no more. By the late 90's, even the Japanese and Korean manufactures dropped their bikini models at these events. But in recent years, many previously unheard of Chinese manufacturers are now trying to get into the US machinery market. And in a brazen display of Chinese superiority, the bikini models are back in force, here in America, for the unheard of Chinese companies anyway. Political correctness be damned. The Chinese models are of course the hottest EVER. God bless the Chinese. Too bad their machines are crap because I am quite certain the Chinese sales reps would gleefully provide Chinese prostitutes as well, if our company actually bought any of their crappy machines.
