Planning my 1st trip to Thailand in July and I’m starting my research now. However, looking for any and all advice along the way. I’m usually in Angeles City at the ABC hotel, I prefer AC, and over Manila and Cebu if that give you an idea of the type of night life area I’m looking for. I know NOTHING about Thailand, so again any and all help will be much appreciated

You have a few options to look at Bangkok or Pattaya are two areas I know best. If you like the Bangkok girls then you should stay in the Nana area, some nice hotels are within walking distance of the Agogos. I have stayed at the Majestic Grande on my Bangkok trips.
Pattaya, has tons of hotel options within walking distance of walking street. If you want to stay in the heart of walking street you can get a room at Secrets they have a coyote bar downstairs.
I prefer to stay at the LK chain of hotels on Soi Diana off of second street, plenty of beer bars in the area.

Depending on how long you are staying . . you should hit both Pattaya and Bangkok to get a feel.
Pattaya is insane . . between walking street and the baht bus route you have hundreds of bars in a reasonably sized area . . partying late . . very touristy
Bangkok a great city . . with several adult entertainment zones, none even 1/3 the size of Pattaya's walking street (which is only a small part of Pattaya's entertainment area). However some great looking women and lots of other things to do . .
I usually go to Pattaya . . go crazy for 5-6 days and spend my last 7-8 days in Bangkok (sometimes do a side trip in between). Even if you are only there for 7-10 days you could probably hit both . .

Going to Pattaya in August for 4 days then off to Phuket for 6.......any info on Tim Boutique hotel...joiner fees??...close to walking street??...hotel recommendations for Phuket??Thanks in advance..

I will grant that Pattaya is 10 time better than AC in EVERYTHING... except the girls. I find the same proportion of lookers to scary WTF was that, but I LUVS the Pinay.
They are both more fun than I can ever imagine having here in TexASS.

Just spent the past 2 weeks in Pattaya, was my first time and got back on 19th.May. Stayed at the Windy Inn hotel in Walking street's French area, huge rooms and great sea view to wake to every morning. I confess it was too hot to do much "touring", but then I didn't have to move out of walking street, got all my needs there! I've been to Manila as well (last year) and frankly I found the Pinays more "charming" than the Thais; less pushy, less sleazy (unless you like sleaze which I do occasionally!) more laid back and more "personal" with you! Pattaya was great and the girls in general excellent in looks and approachability, so no matter where you go in Pattaya, you'll do okay. Enjoy yourself, I certainly did!
