I have been reading about some Bar raids in AC, including Cambodia, Blue Nile, and Golden Nile on some other boards.

My AC trip is coming up in about one month - Any intel from any troops on the ground currently from CH?

My info is that the raids were lead by the head of the Pampanga CDIG - a branch of the NBI. Same guy who lead the raids on Dirty Duck and Forbidden City. He made a huge haul from Lewis of the Lewis Grand group aftert those raids. This Major has recently been informed that he is being replaced. I guess this is his last money grab before he departs.
He seems to have targeted Richard Agnew's bars. Richard is the President of the AC bar owners Association. A message being sent to not get to smug or demanding??
Anyway I am sure this will die down again just as it did after the other round of raids.

Thanks....I guess the good and ressuring news is that regardless of the raids, there are plenty of other bars and girls around!

My GF is one of the Daddy Girls at Golden Nile. She fortunately was one of the girls that got away simply by running do0wn the stairs and out the door. 200 girls and only a few cops. Easy to get away. Another flock of girls just waited until the bus they were loaded into stopped. They opened the back door and many just ran away. Keystone cops stuff. The Daddy Girls all met at GN the next day - doors were still open. They were told the bar would be closed for a while- date of re opening unknown at this time.

Usual BS press story very similar to what was done about Ray Kelly who is still in jail after 6 weeks. Word is they want 10 million pesos from him to forget then charges of Human Trafficking.

In above article Emma Libunao is the CIDG Major who is being replaaced and looking for a last payday.

The Agnew guys seems like in a heap of trouble with the PI wanting to show they are taking active steps against human trafficking.

What a bunch of bullshit all this...all the girls I met are fucking dirt poor from the far reaches of different provinces....they sure seem to be there because they have a choice in wanting to earn some $$$ (some might not like it, but certainly does not see against their will). Now, if they are kidnapped and being shipped overseas that is an entirely different story....but that does not seem the case in these bars. The girls seem to have plenty of choice.

What the fuck does herding them off and sending back to dirt poor condition - with who knows how many people in their family sleeping on bamboo floors - exactly accomplish in the eyes of fucking human rights activist?

Richard has been through this once before. He was jailed for allegedly employing underage girls. Trumped up charges then also. The girls all had IDs and City Hall permits but the NBI brought in dentists who said several were too young because their wisdom teeth were not suitably grown in. Ridiculous criteria to judge age.

He paid 13 million pesos to "get out of jail-not free". I am amazed he kept ownership of any bars let alone high profile bars.

Just got word from my GF. Richard has texted all the girls to say Golden Nile would be open for business tonight. Also his lawyer has apparently gotten all the girls that were arrested out of jail - will be released later today. He himself is still in hiding.

Nice to see some current news as I get ready to hit AC in about two weeks. It would really be sad if greed and dirty cops ruined a good thing.

Golden Nile open for business as usual last night. GF said they had a good night with plenty of customers. Richard was there daring the police to arrest him.
Also last night two CDIG cops went into Geckos with their guns strapped to their side. The girls all panicked thinking it was a raid. Not sure what the plan was but the local cops showed up and escorted the CDIG boys out of the bar and out of town. Suggested to them that they should not return. When the guys got outside I hear there were about 300 bar girls and mamasans waiting for them shouting and threatening.
Sounds like the girls might be ready to fight back. This is their only means of taking care of the family and they are willing to fight to keep their bars open it seems. Many of the mamasans have met and vowed to stop the next buses that try to haul away girls by whatever means it takes. Easy to talk though. Will ne interesting to see what might happen if another raid occurs.

As of now all is back to normal in AC. I think things will quiet down for a while now.

Supposedly the mayor has said he wants to raise the minimum age to work in the bars to 21.

I wonder if that will get any traction?

Probably just wants to make more money by peddling fake IDs to 18-20 year olds.
