i stayed here for a week. paid 1060hkd plus 10% roughly $150usd/nt for the harborview twin room. the view was fantastic, unobstructed view of skyline and can see the water. great views of IFC, HSBC bldg, etc.... big green area right below.

it is on robinson rd in the midlevels area. two minute walk to escalators and there is a bus stop right in front that can get you most places in HK (with transfers of course). nice neighborhood.

room was small but didn't bother me given the view. TV had cnbc, bloomberg, discovery, nat geo. no espn. excellent shower (no tub).

i found the hotel via latestays.com. was staying at the wharney in wanchai and went up to take a look at it. i was in HK for more than two weeks and booked the wharney using two reservations. one for the first four nights, one for the next seven. checked out the bishop lei in person and cancelled the second reservation at the wharney. i had to pay about 200hkd to cancel (paid to latestays.com) and i had also paid up front for the wharney reservations. refund hit my credit card almost immediately. very satisified with latestays.com and the bishop lei.

can't say if it is GF friendly. didn't pull any ladies.
