i booked this for 990 all-in on late stays. some kind of special rate that got me upgraded to a 'comfort' room. have to join the hotel club (no charge) in order to get free internet. nice room, i think they renovated the place in the last year or two. very close to the wharney (which i just commented on) so right in the middle of the action.

my room was decent size, not as tiny as most HK places. one wall was nearly all window and had a decent view of some surrounding bldgs (hotel is on a corner so you don't have to look at a building that is right next door). tv had cnbc and bloomberg but no espn. bunch of news channels, bbc, sky news, fox, al jazeera, some mainland china news, etc... never seen so many different news channels.

i don't even know if rate includes brkfst (same with wharney and bishop lei, where i stayed on same trip). the brkfst is never enough at these places. i have to go and eat a real brkfst somewhere. a roll and juice doesn't cut it.

i've stayed at the intercon on the kowloon side and that had a real brkfst. but i had to pay 2,000hkd and that was in 2010 (i think it is 3,000 now).
