I have not been back to Angeles for almost 3 years now, business and money being a problem. I try to keep up on the news from time to time and I have heard of a big crack down in Angeles, like no more bar fines, customers being held for trafficking just by being in the club at the time of a raid. And they make it sound like raids are very frequent.

I admit I get this only from one site (harry the horse) who can be a doom and gloom guy, but I'm sure there is at least SOMETHING to it. And other sites (promoting Phillipine travel) dont mention it at all, are they editing content?

I know some guys on this site are there quite a bit. How about your spin on this.

You are better off trying to control the weather than the P4P in Angeles. It has been there, is there and will be there.
Usually the so called crackdowns come when it is time for the aid from the US to combat human trafficking.
It is all about money in one form or fashion.

All is pretty normal in AC right now. There has never been a customer even arrested, let alone charged with trafficking, in a raid in AC.

LM, if he was into reading reports, he would have found in 2 minutes that AC is operating normally. Well, normal for AC.

I wouldn't say it's "business as usual" in AC at all. I had good luck with Santos girls and old friends as well when I was there for more than a month this summer, but the whole word "barfine" had bar people jumpy as hell. Some bars completely denied girls could be rented under any circumstances, Insomnia girl randomly said she would go, but only for 3K and for short time, many bars had girls taking a separate trike and meeting at a hotel -- wouldn't leave the bar with you. If it was my first trip to AC, those things woulda kinda freaked me out.

I was there the same time as Porker and didn't run into any problems. I found no issues on Santos and bars or on Fields. I did however frequent bars where they know me. I'll be back in a couple of weeks and let you know what happens then.

Just the opposite, while "shopping around" I was asked many time why I did not take one of the girls back to my room for some "boom boom". The typical girls pointing towards each and making the fucking motion was still standard as before.

In some of the bars they just changed it to where you buy a bottle of some shit for the price of the barfine and the girl just happens to come along with it. In reading the signs on the table it seems to work on the theory of the girl having earned her "daily commission limit by having sold the bottle" and thereby could no longer work in the bar that night. But the girl was much more straight forward then that.... no bullshit about "do you want to buy a bottle", more like grabbing my dick, stroking it, and pointing towards the door or saying "lets go to your room"!

Anyone that is worried about going there - DON'T BE! Just go!

I am sure if you walk around worried, asking a bunch of questions about the barfines, etc, you might get some different reactions. Just go with the flow and business as usual....

Lancelot, April 2013 -- No barfine, but told to pay girl after (2k). Insomnia, July 2013 -- pay the girl, up to her (1K ST once, 2K long time once -- interesting, until one told me 3K for short time, which had my head spinning).

Crystal Palace and Dollhouse seemed to be the places that were truly business as usual.

Perimeter Bars were the most jumpy. Didn't have any where the girl could be seen leaving with me -- separate trikes necessary just about everywhere. Happy Rock flat out denied girls could leave during their shifts under any circumstances (Think about that business model for a second...)

Many of you know, AC is my all-time favorite place, and certainly, I am not arguing it can still be kick-ass awesome.I have been to AC literally 35+ trips, and know what I'm doing and don't ever come off as a newbie/narc. I could live off regulars for years if I had to. I know enough to just laugh and say fuck off when a girl tells me "pay after, 3K for short time", when the barfine was 1800 a few weeks back.

But as many have warned for years now, the "old AC" is at best dumbed down and considerably more expensive, at worst, possibly on the verge of being broken. Again, if it was my first trip, I'd be a little freaked out about places where prostitution had to be a "speak easy" transaction, and the potential for ripoffs under such a system are immense.

May of 2012, one mamasan I have known literally 5 years told me "just go to your hotel, the girl will follow you in a minute. Just pay her there. Not allowed here". I have known that mama for a while and she was clearly acting scared as hell. However, 3 weeks ago the same mamasan was all like counting out my change in the doorway obviously completely relaxed and not having a care in the world. Her bar has changed ownership. Perhaps the new owner is better connected? In any case, what ever was bothering her in 2012 blew over and wasn't bothering her this time.

The same trip three weeks ago I went completely out of character and actually barfined twice from big bars on Fields which generally I completely avoid. Other than sticker shock from a 2,000p and 2,100p barfine, the transaction was handled the same as it ever was in AC.

I am sure raids come and go but as of this most recent trip everyone seemed generally way more relaxed than throughout 2011 into 2012.

As for Porker, I think several bars now have signs behind the bar with his picture printed with "do not barfine to this guy"

Do the girls still put on a "I'm with Cheap Charlie -->" t-shirt when they leave the bar with Porker?
