Horrible excuse of a hotel

So many things are wrong with this establishment that expedia.co.th needs to DELIST it in order to protect their customers..

(1) The beer bar complex bordering south side of property has outdoor live band and kareoke taking turns blasting very loud music until 03:00 AM. Hotel sound proofing is completely indadequate to allow SLEEP inside the room at night. This must violate outoor noise laws, but management has not done anything about it.

(2) The door locks use old fashioned deadbolts and you need to engage it from outside every time you leave and engage it again after entering the room. There is not any secondary internal latching device.

(3) The in room safe is extremely small. you can lock up passport, cell phone and pocket camera, but forget about protecting our full size iPad, or netbook or laptop.

(4) They charge 100 baht per day per device for wi-fi. You have to purchase and enter new pass code every 24 hours. The www_speedtest_net site did not show any test servers and froze during the ping phase.

(5) There is a lot of mold in the bathroom shower.

(6) idiotic installation of air conditioner compressor in an alcove on the balcony traps so heat that there is little hope of cooling during daytime and the internal ductless air handler is a bit noisy even on low speed. I am surpised that a YORK system has this problem.

(7) The door to the balcony does not lock properly, but the likelihood of criminal access to balcony was near zero.

(8) Room was designed to have a little kitchenette, but hotel does not even provide any plates, silverware or appliances., not even hot water pot for instant coffee. The faucet in the mini sink was not properly installed.

(9) The only warm water was point of use electric heater in shower. It was adequate. Bathroom lighting was horrible. One bulb on ceiling behind me caused face to be in shadow making it difficult to shave.

(10) The only positive for this room was a fairly large mini-fridge, albeit without dedicated freezer section.
