I personally, for a long ride like that, prefer to have my own van however there have been several times when my budget didn't permit it so if you are looking to save some pesos here is an option you may not know about. First you can get a free airport pickup from the Swagman hotel (you need to stay one night but if you like to explore Makati then this is ok. I usually fly in late at night so this works for me.) You can get a room for $30 to $40 per night there. The next day you can get a bus ride from Manila to Subic (and if you want you can detour in AC for a couple of days, that is up to you) I believe the bus costs about $15, Also the bus is owned by the hotel so it is only for guests. You may get a discount if you are staying at the Swagman in AC or Subic too. Just a thought. I hope that helps.
