Hello
I will be visiting BKK for my first time here shortly.
Im wondering if anyone can point me to a Good Guide or Trip Report that is useful for a newbie.
I haven't been on this site for a few years.
Would appreciate any help

Also I am going to be there for quite awhile and I am on a hefty amount of Medications
Percocet for pain, Xanax, Ambien and Lyrica.
Does anyone know what the Pharmaceuticals are like there?
I just got back from Norway and everything I was taking was just a prescription away.
Really appreciate any help!

A large number of drugs that require a prescription elsewhere (such as in the U.S.) are available over the counter in Thailand. There are numerous pharmacies in Bangkok that will most likely be able to help you out. If they can't, pay a visit to one of the hospitals to get a prescription. Office visits with a doc are dirt cheap there.

Thank you Murasaki,
I've read that things like Oxycodone (Percocet) dont exist there?
Do you know what class of Pain Killer they would be substituting?

That I don't know. But you can e-mail the hospitals to ask these types of questions. Since they specialize in medical tourism, they get asked this type of stuff all the time. Simply explain that you'll be coming on an extended visit, and would like to know if their pharmacy carries a certain medicine so that you can get a prescription refilled.
