I have decided to go to Manila the day before I leave from Angeles to save the long drive in the wee hours of the morning to make my flight. Where should I stay and what bars should I visit on my last night.

Good question, many face the same dilemma. I don't know your budget for room/girls, so hard to say?

For ME, Manila mongering always brought significant sticker shock compared to even the new AC. Ladies drinks at EDSA complex were at least p300 for about a 2-sips kool-aid drink last time I was there, and was told at least 5K for short time on barfine plus tip.

If THAT was what I was in store for on a Manila late-night stand, I'd PASS and try to get to AC tout-de-suite?

I stay at the City Garden Suites on Mabini Street. The Superior Room runs around $50. I never had a problem bringing a girl in. The hotel is an easy walk over to the LA Cafe. I always pay 1500 PHP for short time there. There are also 5 or 6 small bars a block or so away from the hotel. They used to be 1500 PHP a few years ago.

i stay in fort bonifacio area. has a nice pedestrain mall area. close to airport, maybe 15 minutes with no traffic. took me 40 min once. short taxi ride to makati. i like kojax in makati. check agoda.com for hotels in the area, 70-100usd.

I stay at City Garden also...never a problem.
Close to the action and also a quick ride to Swagman to catch the bus to AC!
