I'm planning a trip to Bangkok in July 2001. I have heard rumors from a discussion on another web board that blacks, arabs and other groups might not be welcome in Club Eden(s) in Bangkok. I don't know if this posibility can be based on penis size, customs,dislike, or etc. Any insight on this by any of the board members will be greatly appreciated.
Frenchie and I did meet recently at a Pattaya bar and he did state that he thought that race would not be a problem there.

I think it's up to the girls and not necessarily a management position. I have heard this mentioned as you have on other boards but only concerning blacks at the Eden Club. Some bars at NEP, CEP and CB may restrict the entry of Arabs and 'other groups' as well. As a honkie of indeterminate extraction it's never been an issue for me, nor have I ever seen anyone refused entry. I have however seen black guys having a lot of fun in many of the bars.

I agree with Frozin1. I've never seen or heard of race being a concern with management. The girls, however, have the right to decline service to anyone. If you have a "good heart," a nice smile, and you look clean without any foul body odor, most of the girls will entertain you. The only time I've ever saw anyone tossed out was a guy who sat at the bar nursing a glass of beer for hours without selecting a girl or girls. In these situations, management (Frenchie) will have no hesitation in tossing you out regardless of race and he won't mince words as to why he's tossing you out.

Yujin is referring to the manager's nationality. His name is Marc and he's a good guy. He makes it a point to try to talk to every customer to verify satisfaction. This is the only place in Thailand that has a total guarantee that I know of. I don't think anyone's ever come away disappointed, though.

I would be surprised if race is an issue here. Wes, go check it out and post what you find.

Just a follow up for those wondering. Wes finally made it in to Edens and had a great time. Race wasn't an issue in any way. Maybe someday he'll have a chance to post something about his experience.

I have gone to Eden many times and this time when I went there were many many japanese and other asian customers and they were taking girls as fast as they became free from other customers. I had to wait for at least 30 minutes for the 2 girl it seems now a requirement. It was not a good session as I could not pick from a group of girls as I have been able to do in the past. It was catch as catch can. I did not compain as the place was to busy, I just paid and left when finished. I may go back again but will not take the girls as I did on this occasion.
