Great industrial style club in the middle of Jakarta. Its full of local honies and a regular hangout for expats. It doesnt get going until mid night, but they wont chuck you out till light. The indonesian girls are there in abundance. They are not shy about the fact that they might want a fuck that night. Avoiding the eyes of a great looking girl is necessary if its early as it is guaranteed that a better one will follow in time. The great thing about the Indonesian girls is they look like thais but are taller and have noses. The girls will readily go with you for the night. There will be no excuses about wanting to go early so there is great value for your money. In Jakarta it is just not cricket to be paying the girl for sex, rather they ask for money for a taxi which would cost them no more than 2 bucks, however they will be upset if you give less than 50 bucks. Thats fine with me...

I'm a Brit who has spent 2 years working in Indonesia and travelling around the region.

I have recently been back to Jakarta (Java, Indonesia) and was pleased to see that the Tanamur nightclub was still going strong. This is in downtown Jakarta not far from Plaza Indonesia and is a bit of an institution.

Tanamur has a wide range of girls available for hire. While prices vary quite a bit (still below the USD10 with the very weak local currency rupiah), I was very surprised to be able to take a number of girls home for no charge. I would like to claim that this was because I was come kind of adonis, but the truth be told this is not the case. It seems to me that if you are staying in a halfway decent hotel, and are not getting up and leaving at the crack of dawn the next morning (you will be often asked these questions explicitly), many girls will be willing to come home with you. A little Indonesian doesn't go astray (and is a very easy language), though not necessary.

There are also a number of clubs down at "Blok M" that are worth reviewing.
