Located on Diamond Street next to Diamond Beach Hotel. Had a dance contest on 2/22/03 and most of the good looking girls were from other bars. The top dancers from Diamond were just average girls but the contest was pretty interesting as the girls were doing some lesbian action. Not really worth going out of your way to come to this place.

DIAMOND - The latest addition was "Tricky Ricky" as their new manager. Formerly from Angel Witch Ricky already has a good following in Pattaya. Epi and I went into Diamond late this last February and the place was dead ,with a few fuglies shuffling their hooves and a few bored or drunk customers sitting alone. Just turned around and walked out. Must have changed 180 degrees since then.

The new manager Ricky has only recently taken over at Diamond and it has become very popular. He is a Showmaster so there will be plenty of raunchy sex shows and events. A manager can really make or break a place, this is why a change like this is important. Not saying that you even have to meet the manager, but a competent Boss will turn a place around quite quickly. All I'm giving you is news, good boss = good bar...

Dave the Rave is not lying. This place is anything but dead. When I walked in last night I thought I entered some Rave party or a disco. I saw many Farang dancing around. To my eye they were a little to energetic definitely beyond inebriation.

The bar has a party atmosphere. The girls and most of the customers were quite happy. The girls didn't dance topless but when the show started they were. The show featured some cute girls dancing on stage wearing ONLY plaid skirts. Entertaining to watch as they flipped their skirts around in front of the customers at the bar. I saw one guy at the bar with his mouth ajar watching.

The music was DAMN loud. The bass vibrated everything. Almost impossible to carry a conversation. The bar has some cute girls but needs some hotties. Worth a look nowadays.

For a bar to be as popular as Diamond is they must be doing something right. They hold regular Dance Contests and the place is packed full.

Hi Marcopolo, so often with go-go bars it's being in the right place at the right time. Too early and all the talent has not arrived, too late and all the talent has gone. DIAMOND can get too packed for the average monger sometimes, so avoid events and parties, unless you like that of course. Most go-go bars have all their best talent on deck between 8.30pm and 9.30pm, so this is a great time to view the talent on offer. Any later and the class talent has often been bought out. Don't worry about it being quiet get in before other guys take all the babes! That's a bar manager's tip.

DIAMOND is a very popular Pattaya go-go bar so you do need to get there a bit earlier. DIAMOND also like to put on parties, dance contests and special sex shows. This may or may not be your thing but DIAMOND is certainly one of the busiest and most popular go-go bars around.

I was at Diamonds this last May. I thought the place was great. You can buy these ping pong balls (20b each)and then throw them on the dance floor and watch the dancers run like crazy to get them. They did do a girl-girl show later that night also.

They do the ping-pong balls at a lot of go-gos. The girls get 20 baht per ball they capture, I think YOU have to buy a 500-baht basket.

The ping-pong ball throwing was introduced by the weirdos who run the Doll House bars. Can't see any fun in that myself, and I like others here think it's degrading for the girls. They treat their BG's like performing monkeys!

DIAMOND has lost some of its top girls and was dead when I visited it. I found that the BG's are not friendly, the lez showgirls are just going through the motions expressionless, and the dug-out go-go stage is terrible! Even though it's a tiny bar it looked deserted. The 25% Thai partner has opened his own place and the top BG's have left to work at his new bar. Sad news for the other Diamond Bosses!

IMO Soi Diamond bars in general aren't a patch on Walking Street. With new bars springing up on Walking Street like the new Electric Blue, Coyotes and Beavers, Soi Diamond may well struggle. I liked the babes in Super Baby but I wish the Boss could stop them staring into the mirrors all night and looking as cold as ice!

Lost much of the energy since my last arrival here. Did see a couple of cute girls but overall not that good. There are much better options on Soi Diamond.

Walked in late night and was standing room only. Packed with people like sardines. Probably some private party going on. Went in early the next night to see if I was missing something and .....
walked out early shaking my head. Nada.

Heard that the sugerbaby Gogo on walking street all moved into here diamond agogo, mongers are saying it's better because it's smaller and looks like there's more girls.
